Product Usage Instructions
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of the product, follow these usage instructions:
Spot Cleaning
For regular maintenance, spot clean any spills or stains using water. Avoid
using harsh chemicals or cleaners that may damage the fabric.
Aquaclean Technology
The advanced Aquaclean technology creates an invisible molecular layer on
the fabric fibers, preventing dirt from penetrating the upholstery textile.
This technology allows for easy cleaning of both water- and oil-based stains
using only water.
Cleaning Water- and Oil-Based Stains
When dealing with water- or oil-based stains, simply use water to clean the
affected area. Gently dab the stain with a clean cloth or sponge until the
stain is removed. Avoid rubbing vigorously to prevent spreading the stain.
FAQ
-
Q: Can I use other cleaning products besides water?
A: It is recommended to only use water for cleaning as the Aquaclean technology is designed to work effectively with water alone. Using other cleaning products may compromise the fabric treatment. -
Q: How often should I spot clean the upholstery?
A: Spot cleaning as needed is sufficient for regular maintenance. It is advisable to address spills or stains promptly to prevent them from setting into the fabric.
Care and Cleaning Instructions
W: Spot clean with water.
Aquaclean technology is an advanced fabric treatment that covers every fiber
with an invisible molecular layer that prevents dirt from penetrating the
upholstery textile. It is the first PFAS-free finish that allows for cleaning
water- and oil-based stains using only water.
REGULAR MAINTENANCE
It is important to vacuum upholstery regularly to remove loose dirt and
surface dust that builds up, before it becomes embedded in the fibers. Use a
soft brush to loosen and brush away surface dirt, followed by vacuuming with
an upholstery attachment. Periodically, a professional cleaner should
thoroughly clean the upholstery to remove the soiling that a normal vacuum
cleaner cannot reach.
SPOT CLEANING TREATMENT
- Step 1: As soon as possible, blot liquid spills with an absorbent towel or a clean, colorfast cloth. Avoid using a scrubbing motion, as it may embed the staining material deeper into the fabric. Dry, solid material should be scraped with a blunt instrument and vacuumed.
- Step 2: Apply water over the stain, either directly or using a damp cloth. Wait a few seconds.
- Step 3: Press down over the stain with a damp cloth and rub gently over the fabric in circular movements.
- Step 4: Repeat this process until the spot is removed or there is no further transfer to the cloth. If there are any rough areas, brush over them with a soft brush or vacuum the area to restore the original texture.
- Step 5: Allow fabric to dry thoroughly before being used again. A hair dryer on a low setting can be used.
STAIN REMOVAL
Aquaclean technology allows cleaning of a variety of stains, including
ballpoint pen, chocolate, ketchup, red wine, coffee, crayon, sauce, etc. using
just water. Please visit instructional videos for cleaning specific stains at
aquaclean.com/en-gb/how-to-clean-stains.
The key to removing waterbased or oil-based stains is prompt action. The
longer the stain is allowed to remain on a fabric, the more difficult it will
be to remove. If any other cleaning agent is used, always pre-test a small
inconspicuous spot to ensure there is no adverse reaction between the dyes and
the cleaner.
