Installing the Tag
- Clean the asset surface with a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water to remove dust and oils.
- Attach the tag using the provided 3M adhesive:
- Remove one side of the protective film and attach it to the blank side of the tag without obscuring the QR code.
- Remove the other side of the protective film and firmly apply it to the asset.
- Activate the tag by pulling the battery tab.
- Use asset tracking software to pair the tag:
- Scan the tag’s QR code or manually enter the tag ID.
- Enter asset information.
- Confirm successful pairing by pressing SUBMIT.

Description
The asset tag is a long-life, cost-effective proximity tag with multiple
mounting options designed for commercial environments. The asset tag is
intended to be attached to an asset by the methods outlined in this user
manual only.

1 The indicated storage temperature range is intended to maximize the battery life and avoid unexpected discharge during storage. The product can be exposed to an increased temperature range than the indicated storage temperature range (as long as it stays within the operating temperature range), but exposure to more extreme temperatures during storage may reduce battery life.

Installing the Tag
- The product is designed to have a small footprint and be attached to commercial equipment using the provided 3M adhesive.
Adhesive
Before adhering the device to the asset surface, clean it using a 50/50
mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water can remove dust and oils on the surface
to prep for good adhesion.
The ideal application temperature range for adhesive application is 70°F to
100°F (21°C to 38°C) but as low as 32°F (0°C) is acceptable. The adhesive will
bond to a broad range of high surface energy substrates including metals,
glass, plastics and easier to bond paints.
- Using the included Tag double-sided adhesive, remove one side of the protective film and secure it to the blank side of the Tag a.Avoid obscuring Tag QR code
- Remove the other of side of the protective film and apply it securely to the asset
Activation
- Pull the battery tab to turn on the Tag
- Using asset tracking software,
- Scan the Tag QR code or manually enter the Tag ID benter asset information
- Confirm successful pairing by pressing SUBMIT
