- Unbox the Gibi tracker and accessories. Slide the Gibi tracker out of e attachment clip.
- Start charging the Gibi tracker by connecting the charger kit and inserting e Gibi tracker. If using a wall outlet, use a power stiri p wi h surge protection,
- To create your Gibi account and activate he Gibi tracker, scan the QR code or go to login .getgibi.com
Step 1:
- Attach cable mini USB end to charger cradle.
- Attach cable USB end to power adapter (or to a computer USB port, then skip to 4 below).
- Plug power adapter into wall outlet.
- Slide Gibi device into charger in direction of grey arrow on top of device.
The light will be GREEN for about 20 seconds while it connects with the Gibi network, then RED while it charges, then GREEN again when fully charged. You will also get a fully charged alert. See FAQ on button light at getgibi.com /FAQ for more info. A fully depleted battery will take about 2 hours to fully charge.

Battery:
The lithium-polymer battery in Gib should be replaced only by Gibi
Technologies Inc. or a Gibi Authorized Service Provider and must be recycled
or disposed of separately from household waste. For information about battery
recycling and replacement, go to getgibi.com/battery-recycling-and-
replacement.
Charging and discharging:
The Gibi device is powered by a rechargeable battery. When the battery voltage
drops below low battery threshold, the device needs to be charged. The battery
can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventually wear
out. Recharge Gibi device only with Gibi Technologies Inc. approved chargers
designated for this Gibi device.
Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and the Gibi device when not in
use. Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger, since
overcharging may shorten its lifetime. If left unused, a fully charged battery
will lose its charge over time. Never use any charger that is damaged. Leaving
the Gibi device in hot or cold places, such as in a closed car in summer or
winter conditions, will reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery. Do
not dispose the Gibi device in a fire as it may explode. Dispose of Gibi
device according to local regulations. Do not dispose as household waste. Do
not dismantle the device. In the event of a battery leak, do not allow the
liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. In the event of such a leak,
flush your skin or eyes immediately with water, or seek medical help.
Gibi Ninety-Day Limited Warranty: Summary Gibi warrants the included hardware product and accessories against defects in materials and workmanship for ninety days from the date of original retail purchase. Gibi does not warrant against normal wear and tear, nor damage caused by accident or abuse. To obtain service contact Gib at support@gibitechnologies.com. Shipping charges may apply. Subject to the full terms and detailed information on obtaining service available at getgibi.com/gibi-hardware- warranty, if you submit a valid claim under this warranty, Gib will either repair, replace, or refund your Gibi at its own discretion. Warranty benefits are in addition to rights provided under local consumer laws. You may be required to furnish proof of purchase details when making a claim under this warranty.

FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class
B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and
on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more
of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
