Product Usage Instructions
Initial Installation:
- Machine ships without the DWT valve Assembly installed.
- Install the DWT assembly in the drain line between the machine and floor sink.
- Attach the DWT to the left or right side of the drain manifold, closest to the floor sink.
- Remove the black plug.
- Connect the cold water line to the in-line check valve. Installer is responsible for water connection.
- Cold water connections are not supplied by CMA Dishmachines.
- Turn on the cold water and check for leaks.
EST-66 Drain Water Tempering Assembly:
- This assembly includes the Drain Water Tempering Valve Assembly effective from 03-2023.

- A: No, the machine ships without the DWT valve Assembly installed. It needs to be installed by the installer.
- Q: Where should the DWT assembly be attached?
- A: The DWT assembly should be attached to the left or right side of the drain manifold, always install closest to the floor sink.

Installation Instructions
Drain Water Tempering Kit – Initial Installation Instructions
- Machine ships with CMA Drain Water Tempering (DWT) valve Assembly NOT installed. Installer to install the DWT assembly in the drain line between the machine and floor sink.
- Example of DWT attached to left or right side of the drain manifold. Always install closest to floor sink.
- Attached to left side of Drain Manifold
- Attached to right side of Drain Manifold
- Remove black plug.
- Connect cold water line to the in-line check valve. Installer responsible for water connection.
- Cold water connections not supplied by CMA Dishmachines.
- Turn on cold water and check for leaks.
