Product Features
Built with robust metal and a unique pressurized structure, the HDT02-UST is designed to destroy hard disk and confidential data. As the force can be as great as 4 tons, it can destroy both 2.5″ and 3.5″ drives, making data recovery difficult. When in use, the HDT02-UST must be securely placed on the desk and fastened with the C-clamps included in the package.

Installation Procedures
Lift the machine out of the box using the handle on both sides. Follow the procedures outlined in the user guide to install HDT02-UST hard disk destroyer in the proper manner.

Step ① Check the spare parts required for the installation
Please check whether the package contains the following spare parts. These must be installed before the machine can be used. -
Step ② Place HDT02-UST securely on the table
Use the included C-clamps to secure the machine to the table. Caution: Please always make sure that the table is sturdy -
Step ③ Installation of a spike
1. The smooth surface of the chosen spike should face outward. Push upward to position the spike in the designated hole.
2. To fasten the screw, use a T-shaped wrench and turn in the clockwise direction. To replace a damaged spike, turn counterclockwise to loosen the screw; remove the damaged spike and replace with a new one.
Note: The long spike is used for the destruction of 2.5” HDD while the shorter spike is for the destruction of 3.5” HDD.
- Step ④ Assemble the lever
1. Hold the handle over the round hole in the upper part of the Body.
2. Use a T-shaped wrench to fasten the handle.
3. After the above procedures, please ensure the handle is firmly assembled to the machine.
- Step ⑤ Install the Safety Guard
1. 1. Place the safety guard on the Hard Disk Destroyer as Figure 1 shows below.
2. Before destruction process, adjust the safety guard position as needed. ( Figure 2)
Destroying a Hard Disk

Step ① Place the hard disk in the work area
Place the hard disk between the holder and the spike. Slide the safety guard down before executing the destruction. -
Step ② Avoid the Hard Disk Axis
Caution: The destruction of the hard disk motor may damage the HDT02-UST. When pulling the handle downward, please avoid the motor so as to not damage the spike. -
Step ③ Start the hard disk destruction
Before use, it is suggested to put on the included goggles. Pull the handle down to destroy the hard disk. -
Step ④ Repeat Step ③multiple times.

Step ⑤ Thorough destruction of hard disk
It is suggested to punch 3-5 holes around the platter to deform the hard disk. The destruction is then completed.
(Optional) How to Install the SSD Destruction Module?

Step①
Leave the upper flat side of SSD destructive module facing outwards. Fix it to the corresponding holes from the bottom to the top. -
Step②
Tighten the screw clockwise by using a T-shaped wrench to secure the module.
Note: If you would like a new module to be substituted for an old SSD module, unscrew it counterclockwise while holding the old module steady Caution: The SSD Module is not suitable for destroying traditional HDDs
How to Use the SSD Destruction Module to Destroy an SSD?

Step①
Place SSD on the working platform. (Schematic picture as shown below) -
Step②
Pull the handle down and the SSD can be destroyed completely. (Schematic picture as shown below) -
Step③
To deform and drill through an SSD physically, drill in accordance with the locations shown in the red boxes below.
Caution: It is advised to wear goggles and protective gloves while the destroyer is in use
