Pre-Test Step
Charge the meter.

Check Your Blood Glucose

  1. If using meal markers, use the home button to choose the meal marker icon   if you are checking your blood glucose before a meal or choose the icon if you are checking your blood glucose after a meal.
  2. Hold test strip horizontally with the indicator arrow pointing down. Push the test strip straight down into the test strip port. Wait for the icon and the “Apply A Drop of Blood” message to appear on screen.
  3. Apply a drop of blood to the top of the test strip.
  4. Wait for the meter to count down and display your test result. The meter sends your reading to your care team. When complete, the Reading Successfully Transmitted message appears.

Meter Messages

  • The meter will count down from 5 to 0 seconds.
  • After 5 seconds your blood glucose result will be displayed.
  • The meter sends your reading to your care team. When complete, the Reading Successfully Transmitted message appears.

Intended Use

  • The iGlucose® Plus Blood Glucose Monitoring System is intended to be used for the quantitative measurement of glucose (sugar) in fresh capillary whole blood samples drawn from the fingertips. The iGlucose Plus Monitoring System is intended to be used by a single person and should not be shared.
  • The iGlucose Plus System is intended for self-testing outside the body (in vitro diagnostic use) by people with diabetes at home as an aid to monitor the effectiveness of diabetes control. The iGlucose Plus System should not be used for the diagnosis of, or screening for diabetes or for neonatal use.
