Installation Steps
- Turn microphone clockwise to install it to the shock mount.
- Plug USB cable to the USB shock mount.
- Install the pop filter to the shock mount.

Button and Functions
- Mute Button
Note: Mute and unmute function apply to all modes.
- RGB Light Control
Button The RGB lighting control button is located on the side of the microphone body. By holding it for more than 2 seconds, you can adjust the three display modes of the lighting.
- Mode 1: RGB loop – the colors above and below the microphone slowly changed from different colors to another color.
- Mode 2: Monochromatic Breathing mode – Monochromatic lights turn on and off with a breathing effect.

In monochrome breathing and steady light mode, you can press the button for
less than 2 seconds to change the color of the light and select the light off
status. It is more convenient to use Maono Link to adjust light switches,
colors and display effects, and color customization.
Smart Knob
Turn the knob to adjust mic gain, headphone volume and monitor mix. Hold the
knob for 1s to switch modes.

Mode 1: Microphone Gain When the microphone symbol lights up, turn the knob clockwise to increase the microphone gain, and turn it counterclockwise to decrease the microphone gain. The white indicator light will change as the gain increases and decreases. Short press the smart knob to switch to “headphone volume mode”, and the headphone indicator light will light up.

Mode 2: Headphone Volume Turn the knob clockwise to increase the headphone volume, and turn it counterclockwise to decrease the headphone volume. The blue indicator light will change as the headphone volume increases and decreases. Short press the smart knob again to switch to Monitor Mix Mode, and a purple light will light up on the indicator light.

Mode 3: Monitor Mix In “Monitor Mix Mode”, rotating clockwise will change the monitoring signal gradually switching from the microphone to the host device, and the purple light in the indicator light will move toward the headphones; conversely, rotating counterclock- wise will change the monitoring signal from the host device The device switches to the microphone and the purple light in the indicator light will move towards the microphone.

Mode 4: High Pass Filter Press and hold the knob for more than 2 seconds to turn on or off the “High Pass Filter” function. After turning it on, the high-pass indicator light ^ under the knob will light up; after turning it off, the indicator light will go out. The high-pass filter function can reduce low-fre- quency sounds in the environment when turned on. Common low-frequency sounds include the sound of indoor air conditioners, computer radiator sounds, etc. The low-frequency frequency can be set via Maono Link software.
The above four modes can be changed by short pressing the knob, please pay
attention to the change of the indicator light.
Note: When in a certain mode and there is no operation for 3 seconds, the
microphone level display will be displayed. The level meter displays the
signal’s peak level in green, orange, and red in real time based on the volume
of sound captured by the microphone. The normal level is green, the slight
overload is orange, and the severe overload is red. To ensure the quality of
the recording, please adjust the microphone gain or use a distance to ensure
that the signal is not severely overloaded.

Maono Link is available for both Windows 7 or later and macOS 10.14 or later.
To download the software, please go to https://www.maono.com Settings are
synced in real time between hardware and software. In order to better improve
the user experience, the Maono Link software will change the interface and
functions due to version upgrades. Please refer to the latest version of the
software released by Maono.
Recording Setting
Maono Link provides users with a wide range of microphone audio functions and
rich DSP effect parameter settings to meet users’ personalized needs for sound
effects. Through preset effects, users can quickly complete personalized
settings.
Monitoring Setting
Provides more advanced audio processing features such as headphone volume
control, monitor mix, and high/low adjustment to customize your voice.
Light Adjustment
Provides more advanced light adjustment. You can use adjust light brightness
and light modes to get the satisfying light.
