Matias M5D Wireless Mouse

Insert AA battery first

The mouse runs off a single AA battery, which will last approximately 1 year (in typical use). We encourage you to use rechargeable batteries. The battery compartment is under the mouse button cover — held in place magnetically. Simply pull the mouse buttons UP to remove the cover.

Nano Receiver stays plugged in
Setup is simple… Plug the Nano Receiver into your computer, then turn on the mouse. The Nano Receiver stays plugged in, for instant wireless reconnects — plus its small size makes it perfect for notebook users. Slide the ON / OFF switch to turn the mouse on and off.

When your laptop is in a bag turn OFF the mouse
To ensure that your mouse DOESN’T wake your LAPTOP from SLEEP while in your bag, remember to turn the mouse OFF before stowing it.

Unplug with USB-C Puller

Being so small, the wireless USB-C receiver is a little more difficult to unplug — especially with larger hands — so we’ve included a free Puller tool, making it easy… Simply place the Puller over the receiver, rotate a quarter turn, then pull the two ends together and out.

If you’ve lost your Nano Receiver…

We have replacement receivers available. Please contact… help@matias.ca

How to Pair to a new Nano Receiver

Your mouse is ALREADY paired to the receiver it came with, so you can skip this step, unless there are special circumstances — for example, pairing to a new replacement receiver. You can pair any number of Matias mice or keyboards to the same Nano Receiver. This is especially convenient for laptop users. For example, if you have a keyboard/mouse setup at home and another at the office, you can plug one Nano Receiver into your laptop and pair all the devices to that one receiver. Paired devices will automatically connect when they are in range.

  1. Unplug any receivers that may be in the range of the mouse.
  2. Press & hold the Top button THEN turn ON the mouse. CONTINUE holding down the Top button UNTIL the indicator light starts flashing Blue.
  3. Plug the Nano Receiver into your computer, THEN place the mouse as close as possible to the Nano Receiver.
  4. When the indicator light stops flashing, pairing is complete.
