General handling information
Many components in our movement are made of metal, so magnetic fields may temporarily disrupt their functioning, or even cause a total stop. We strongly recommend you not to place the watch on devices with a magnetic field such as microwaves, refrigerators, speakers, etc. If the battery (CR3032) in your watch is completely discharged, there is a risk of leakage and that may damage the movement. We recommend that you have the battery replaced immediately at a Lotus Connected certified dealer, who can pressure test the watch’s water resistance. You should avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures of above 55°C or below 0°C. Also, avoid sudden changes in temperature, for example in a sauna or when diving into cold water after direct exposure to the sun. Sudden and extreme temperature changes can cause condensation on the inside of the glass. Even if your watch is water-resistant, in order to avoid water penetration, which could damage the movement, it is imperative not to use the pushers when the watch is in contact with water.
Warranty information
FESTINA LOTUS SA (Lotus Connected) warrants that for a period of two (2) years, as from delivery of the product, the product(s) included in the package are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use. This is a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty. It provides rights separate to the rights provided by consumer law, including, but not limited to, those relating to non-conforming goods. FESTINA LOTUS SA limited warranty benefits are in addition to, and not instead of, rights provided by local consumer law. Should your watch require warranty service, please contact the authorized Lotus Connected dealer who sold you the watch and provide them with your international warranty card or proof of purchase. If work is done under the warranty, the Lotus Connected dealer or service centre may to the extent permitted by law charge for postage and handling. Non-warranty service is done at an appropriate charge by the authorized Lotus Connected retailer of your choice. In the event of repair, the watch, watch parts or bracelet/strap may be replaced with equivalent parts.
The Lotus Connected warranty does not cover
- Crystal or battery life.
- Failure caused by fire, earthquake, and other natural disasters.
- Failure resulting from an improper service modification.
- Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
- Alteration of the color and/or material of non-metallic straps and chains, such as leather, textile, rubber.
- Leather straps used in Lotus products are not covered. We will only replace them if the conditions of the warranty are met within 6 months from date of purchase. This warranty is void if the leather product has been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorized service or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship or if a valid receipt is not included.
- Water damage unless marked water-resistant and the damage is not the result of misuse.
- Any work done by an unauthorized third party.
- Even for products submitted within the valid warranty period, repair costs that would normally be covered by the terms of the warranty may be charged in cases where information about the distributor or place of purchase is missing or incomplete.
- Claims are covered by any extra warranty that may be provided by the seller.
- A watch that was not originally purchased from an authorized Lotus Connected retailer.
Important information
This product is not a medical device and should not be used to diagnose or treat medical conditions. Do not disassemble the watch, there are no serviceable parts inside the watch. Do not allow small children to play with the device as small parts may come loose and pose a choking hazard. Do not use this transmitting device near sensitive medical equipment without requesting permission. If you have electronic medical implants, do not use this device without consulting medical expertise first.
Batteries, WARNING
Risk of fire and burns. Do not recharge, disassemble, heat above +55 degrees C, or incinerate. Keep the battery out of reach of children and in original package until ready to use. Dispose of used batteries promptly. Never put batteries in your mouth. Swallowing may lead to serious injury or death. If ingested, immediately seek medical attention.
Radiofrequency exposure
Your Lotus Connected device is equipped with a radio transmitter and receiver of Bluetooth™ Low Energy type, operating in the frequency range 2400 to 2500 MHz. Its radiated output power is far below exposure limits set by national authorities such as the FCC, IC, European Council and international health agencies.
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, WEEE
The symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that this product must
not be disposed of with your other household waste. Instead, it is your
responsibility to dispose of your waste equipment by handing it over to a
designated collection point for the recycling of waste electrical and
electronic equipment. The separate collection and recycling of your waste
equipment at the time of disposal will help conserve natural resources and
ensure that it is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the
environment. For more information about where you can drop off your waste for
recycling, please contact your local authority, or where you purchased your
product.

We, FESTINA LOTUS SA, of C/Velázquez nº 150, 3º 1ª 28002 Madrid (Spain) declare under our sole responsibility that our product Lotus Connected watch of model BT003 is in conformity to the essential requirements and other relevant requirements of the RE Directive. The product is in conformity with the appropriate standards EN 300 328 v1.8.1, EN 301 489-1 v1.9.2, EN 301 489-17 v2.2.1 and EN 60 950-1 2006+A11:2009+A1:2010+A12:2011+A2:2013.
