Product Information

The Greta II LED Vanity Light is a stylish and modern lighting fixture designed for bathroom vanities. It features an aluminium body with an acrylic shade, providing durability and a sleek appearance. The light fitting is classified as Class I and requires an earth connection for protection. Product Usage Instructions

1. Before starting the installation, ensure that the mains supply is switched off to ensure safety.
2. Carefully unpack the vanity light.
3. Remove the mounting bracket from the rear of the vanity light.
4. Using the two holes in the mounting bracket as a guide, drill two holes in the surface where you plan to mount the vanity light.
5. Securely attach the mounting bracket to the surface using screws and a suitable fixture system.
6. Connect the Live (L), Neutral (N), and Earth wires according to the markings on the terminal block.
7. Fit the vanity light onto the bracket and fasten it using the two mounting screws.
8. After completing the installation, switch on the mains supply.
9. Finally, switch on the vanity light to enjoy its illumination.

Note : The installation of this fitting must be carried out by a qualified electrical contractor in accordance with AS/NZS 3000:2007 and relevant amendments for safety and compliance.

Warranty: The warranty provided by Brilliant Lighting covers defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. To claim warranty, the product must be installed by a qualified electrical contractor and operated within the specified guidelines. The warranty does not cover damage or loss resulting from incorrect installation, operation, or maintenance, modification, service by unqualified or unauthorized personnel, or lack of regular maintenance and cleaning. Proof of installation by qualified personnel and purchase must be supplied for all warranty claims.

Consumer Rights:
In addition to the warranty, customers are entitled to certain rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law. These include replacement or refund for major failures and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Goods can also be repaired or replaced if they fail to meet acceptable quality standards.

Before first using your new Brilliant Greta II LED Vanity light, it is most important that you read and follow these instructions, even if you feel you are quite familiar with this type of product.
Find a place and keep this document handy for future reference.

THIS FITTING MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR IN ACCORDANCE WITH AS/NZS 3000:2007 and relevant amendments.

Installation Instructions

1. Ensure mains supply is switched off.
2. Unpack the vanity light carefully.
3. Remove the mounting bracket from the rear of the vanity light.
4. Drill 2 holes in the surface to which you are mounting the vanity light using the 2 holes in the mounting bracket (B) as a guide.
5. Use screws and suitable fixture system to secure the bracket to the surface on which the fixture is to be mounted.
6.  Connect the Live(L), Neutral(N) and Earth according to the markings on the terminal block.
7. Fit the vanity light (A) to the bracket (B) and fasten the two mounting screws
8. Switch the mains supply on.
9. Switch on.

WARNING:

• Not designed for outdoor use.
• This fitting must be earthed.
• This product is not dimmable.
• Failure to follow these instructions will invalidate warranty.
• For safety reasons, any installation, repair or inspection must be done by authorized personnel
• If the product is functioning irregularly, please TURN OFF the power and contact the nearest authorized dealer.
• Do not perform modifications or change parts within the light fixture.

Warranty

Brilliant Lighting warrants this product against defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of 3 years from date of purchase. This warranty is only valid for products installed by a qualified electrical contractor and operated within the guidelines specified by Brilliant Lighting, and within the correct operating voltage ranges as stated on the product’s rating label. Warranty does not include damage or loss arising from incorrect installation, operation or maintenance of this product, damage caused through modification, incorrect installation, service by unqualified or unauthorised personnel or lack of regular maintenance and cleaning. Proof of installation by qualified personnel may be required, eg. Electrical Safety Certificate. Proof of purchase must be supplied with all warranty claims. This warranty is provided in addition to any other rights and remedies of the customer under any law. Lliability is limited to replacement or reimbursement of product only. Our goods come with guarantees that can not be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Any claim under this warranty must be made within 3 years of the date of purchase of the product. To make a claim under the warranty, take the product (with proof of purchase – receipt or similar) to the store where you purchased the product or contact Brilliant Lighting at the address below, or use our warranty claim form found on our website.
