Security and Solar Film User Manual
Maintenance Instructions
CAUTION
- Do not wind down the side windows for 7 days.
- Do not direct the airflow from your air conditioning towards the filmed windows. (for the first 7 days after film installation)
- Do not switch on the demister. (15 days recommended) Do not wash the film. (30 days recommended)
- Do not attach smart tag holder, auto-access tag, soft toy holder > and the like on on the filmed window after installation.
GENERAL CARE
- Clean the filmed windows with a soft cloth soaked in lukewarm water to gently wipe off dirt or dust.
- Avoid using any abrasive cleaner, alcohol or ammonia based solvents.
- Do not pick at the edges of the film or try to repair any film that has not cured properly.
NOTE:
Films may take 30 to 60 days to fully cure. Visual changes during this period are a natural part of bonding process. Small water spots will diminish and eventually disappear.
Terms & Conditions

This warranty is valid for 5 years from date of issuance of the Toyota Solar and Security Film Warranty Card and must be presented at the time of making a claim.

UMW Toyota Motor warrants that it will replace the affected film free-of-charge covered by this warranty in the event that a defect is found due to film defects and / or poor workmanship.

This warranty is applicable to the following conditions:
a. Peeling
b. Decolourization ~
c. Blister
d. Bubble
e. Grazing
f. Champagne Bubbling
g. Glue Mark
h. Rippling -
The following are excluded under this warranty:
a. When another type of film which is a non Toyota film is fitted on top of the Toyota Solar and Security Film.
b. Scratches
c. Shattered Glass -
UMW Toyota Motor reserves the right to make the final decision on all warranty claims.

Failure to follow maintenance instructions will render the warranty void.

UMW Toyota Motor shall not be liable for any loss of life, injury or damage to property or any loss or damage
consequential or otherwise should you or any occupant in your vehicle face any difficulty in exiting the vehicle through any of the window in an emergency situation as a result of the installation of the window tint.
