INTRODUCTION
The Portable Electronic Key Finder is a device that makes finding keys simple. The everyday hassle of finding lost keys is eliminated with the touch of a button. You can count on an alarm to direct you to your keys. Whether your keys are lying close by or up to 45 feet away, the Portable Electronic Key Finder’s wireless transmitter will locate your keys while being carried in hand with ease. This package includes a remote transmitter, two key ring fobs, and a tabletop cradle for storage.

INSTALLING BATTERIES
REMOTE TRANSMITTER
Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).
- Grasp the back cover of the transmitter and firmly slide it down to access the battery compartment inside.
- Insert 2 “AAA” 1.5V batteries into the transmitter, aligning the polarity (+/-) of the batteries to match the labels provided inside the battery compartment.
- Reattach the back cover of the transmitter. Start by positioning the cover on the device with the top edge aligned at the level of the topmost screws, and then firmly push the entire cover-up.
FOBS
- Each requires one CR2032 (3V) button cell battery (included).
NOTE: There are four CR2032 button cell batteries included. Two must be installed before your first use and the other two are replacements. Follow these steps for first-time installation or if the batteries need to be replaced.
- Grasp the back cover and screw off counterclockwise. See Figure A.
- Insert a new battery into the metal slot, ensuring the “+” side of the battery is facing up. The FOB will make its characteristic beeping sound as it is inserted into the slot.
- Replace the back cover by screwing it clockwise back onto the FOB. See Figure B.
- NOTE: Be sure that the “OPEN” markings are facing the bottom as you screw on the cover. This will ensure that the pieces are properly aligned.
OPERATION
- Attach the number-coded fobs to key rings or other appropriate devices to be located.
- Press the corresponding number-coded button on the Remote Transmitter to locate the desired fob.
- If the fob is in range (45 feet in an open area), it will emit an audible beep for a few seconds.
- If no beep is heard, intermittently press the corresponding button. You may have to change your location if the beep is still not heard and continue to intermittently press the corresponding button.
- NOTE: The Remote Transmitter is portable, it can be removed from the provided Tabletop Cradle and carried with you to locate devices attached to a fob.
BATTERY WARNING
BATTERY WARNING:
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
- Ensure all batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and -). Do not short-circuit the supply terminal.
- Remove batteries when not in use. Recycle or dispose of exhausted batteries according to federal, state, and local laws. Do NOT dispose of batteries in household trash or incinerate them.
- Only use a manufacturer-specified battery(ies), charger(s), and/or adapter, if applicable, specified by the manufacturer.
- Always use, replace, and recharge (if applicable) batteries under adult supervision.
- Nonrechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above 70 ℃, or incinerate. Doing so may result in injury due to venting, leakage, or explosion resulting in chemical burns.
- Call a local poison control center for treatment information.
KEEP THIS PACKAGING FOR REFERENCE AS IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

- Do not ingest the battery. Chemical burn hazard.
- (The remote control supplied with) This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
- Keep new and used batteries away from children.
- Even used batteries may cause severe injury or death.
- If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
- If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
WARNING
- INGESTION HAZARD: This product contains a button cell or coin battery.
- DEATH or serious injury can occur if ingested.
- A swallowed button cell or coin battery can cause Internal Chemical Burns in as little as 2 hours.
- KEEP new and used batteries OUT OF REACH of CHILDREN.
- Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to be swallowed or inserted inside any part of the body.
