Safety of use

WARNING!

  • Do not leave the child unattended.
  • Discontinue using the cot as soon as the child can sit up unaided, pull itself up, or Lift itself on its hands and knees.
  • Do not use this product without first reading the instructions.
  • Placing additional objects in the product may cause suffocation.
  • Do not leave anything in the cot or place the cot close to another product, which could provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords, etc.
  • Do not use more than one mattress in the product.
  • Always raise the drop-side fully when the cot is not attached to an adult’s bed.
  • Make sure that there is no gap between the adult’s bed and the bedside cot.
  • To avoid hazards caused by a child putting their neck on the top rail from the adult’s side of the bed, the top rail should not be higher than the mattress of the adult’s bed.
  • To avoid the risk of strangulation of the child, the adult bed attachment system should always be kept away from and out of the cot.
  • The cot is suitable for children from birth weighing up to 15kg.
  • There can only be one child in the cot at a time.
  • The cot should always be placed on a Level floor
  • Small children should not play unsupervised near the cot
  • The cot should be Locked in a fixed position when the child is Left unattended
  • ALL mounting fastenings should always be properly tightened. Care should be taken to ensure that no screw is Loose, as the child’s body parts or clothing items could get caught, posing a strangulation risk.
  • Be aware of the risk of open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the cot.
  • Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn, or missing, and use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
  • Any additional or replacement parts shall only be obtained from the manufacturer or distributor.
  • Only use the mattress sold with this cot, Do not add a second mattress on this one, as suffocation hazards.
  • Do not use the product without a mattress.
  • A suitable fixing system should be supplied. The user should not use another fixing system.
  • To prevent the risk of strangulation due to entrapment, the bedside cot should be properly attached to the adult’s bed using an attachment system.
  • Check the correct installation of the attachment system before each use by trying to pull the cot away from the adult’s bed.
  • The cot should never be used in a tilted position.
  • If there is a gap between the cot and the adult’s bed, do not use the product. Do not fill the gaps with cushions, blankets, or other objects.
  • A cot is ready for use, only when the locking mechanisms are engaged. Check carefully that they are fully engaged before using the folding cot.
  • The Lowest position is the safest. The base should always be used in that position as soon as the baby is old enough to sit up
  • If you leave the child unattended in the cot, always make sure that the movable side is closed.
  • To prevent injury from falls when the child can climb out of the cot, the cot shall no longer be used for that child.

Assembly and use

INSTALLATION
Take the cot out of the bag and lay it on the floor with the Velcro side facing upwards. Unfasten the Velcro (pict. A. point 1) and remove it from the Loops (pict. A. point 2) and then unfold the mattress in which the cot is wrapped. Position the cot so that it is resting with its legs on the floor and fold it out sideways, pulling the rails upwards (pict. B). Fold out the handrails in pairs – first the longer ones, then the shorter ones – until they are locked (pict. C). Then push the mechanism in the middle of the bottom of the cot until the bottom is fully tightened and locked (pict. D). Lay the mattress on the bottom of the cot with the firm side down. Twine the Velcro fasteners of the mattress (pict. E, point 1) through the holes between the wall and the bottom of the cot (pict. E, point 2) and attach them to the Velcro fasteners at the bottom of the cot (pict. F and G).

ASSEMBLY OF THE BEDSIDE COT
To convert the cot into a bedside cot. follow the steps described above, but before assembling the mattress, unfold the attachable bottom of the cot (pict. H) and place it inside the cot. Fasten the zip connecting the attachable bottom of the cot to the cot as shown in the picture. I. Attach the side net of the attachable bottom to the drop-side of the cot (pict. J and K). The attachable bottom should be attached to all sides of the cot (pict. L).

Install each of the two pairs of frame tubes in the designated holes (pict. L, points A and B), then connect them by inserting the thinner end of one into the larger hole of the other (pict. M). Place the mattress on the attachable bottom with the firm side down (pict. N). Twine the Velcro fasteners of the mattress (pict. 0, point 1) through the holes in the attachable base of the cot (pict. 0, point 2 and pict. P, point 1 and 2) and attach them to the Velcro underneath the cot (pict. Q).

Next. unfasten the side net of the attachable bottom on the drop-side of the cot (pict. R and S). Unzip the zip on both sides of the drop-side of the cot (pict. T). Slide the locks on both sides of the drop-side towards the center (pict. U, point 1) and lower the side (pict. U, point 2). Temporarily unfasten the mattress on the side with the pocket. insert the detached side net of the attachable bottom into the space between the cot’s side and the attachable bottom (pict. V). Then, connect and fasten the zips on the attachable bottom and the drop-side of the cot (pict. W) and reattach the mattress to the attachable bottom (pict. X). Attach the securing straps on both sides of the cot (pict. Y, point 1), and pass the other end of the straps (pict. Y, point 2) under the mattress of the adult’s bed. The straps should be adjusted to ensure that the cot fits tightly to the adult’s bed.

To fold the cot. remove the mattress and the attachable bottom if installed, then press the mechanism located in the center of each rail. Ensure that the mechanism has unlocked both sides of the rails (pict. Z). Grab the red loop in the mechanism in the center of the cot’s bottom and pull it upward – the cot will fold Lay the cot mattress on the floor with the firm side down and place the folded cot on it – as shown in picture AA. Wrap the mattress around the folded cot and fasten it with Velcro (pict. AB). Place the folded set in the carry bag (pict. AC).

Cleaning and care

Explanation of cleaning signs:

  • Minor stains on the cot cover can be cleaned with a sponge and a gentle cleaner (e.g. soap).
  • The frame of the cot can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. After cleaning, wipe the elements dry with a paper towel or dry cloth.
  • Do not use ammonia-based abrasive cleaners, bleach, or spirits.
  • Store the thoroughly dried cot in a dry room away from sources of heat and moisture.

Warranty

The product comes with a 2-year warranty starting from the purchase date. In case of a defect, the product should be returned to the store where it was purchased, remembering to provide the proof of purchase. The product should be complete, and preferably in its original packaging.
