NCS 2050 Colour Scan 2.0 Collection
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Download the latest version of the Capture Sync software:
- Install the downloaded software on your computer.
- Connect your Colour Scan 2.0 device to your computer using the provided USB cable.
- Open the Capture Sync software and follow the on-screen instructions to update your Colour Scan 2.0 device with the NCS 2050 COLLECTION.

How to update Colour Scan
How to update Colour Scan 2.0 with NCS 2050 COLLECTION
If you do not have the CAPSURE SYNC previously installed on your computer:
DOWNLOAD CAPSURE SYNC FOR COLOUR SCAN 2.0:
- For PC: Capsure Sync for PC
- For MAC: Capsure Sync for MAC
Once CAPSURE SYNC is installed. follow A or B option to solve your issue:
A) My device currently has NCS 1950 Collection and I wish to update to NCS 2050 Collection
- Open Capsure Sync on your computer.
- Connect your Colour Scan device to the computer with the USB cable.
- When Capsure Sync starts and asks for confirmation of synchronization, make sure that “Last sync:” is the current date and time. Click “Sync Now”.
- Mark Synchronize chosen colour charts box then select NCS 2050 COLLECTION (only)
- Press Synchronize
- Confirm that NCS 1950 COLLECTION will be replaced by NCS 2050 COLLECTION, click 01<.
- Click OK on Capsure Sync program on computer when synchronization is complete.
B) My device currently has the NCS 2050 Collection but missing LV (Lightness values)
- Open Capsure Sync on your computer.
- Connect your Colour Scan device to the computer with the USB cable.
- When Capsure Sync starts and asks for confirmation of synchronization, click proceed.
- Mark “Synchronize chosen colour charts” box then select NCS 2050 COLLECTION
- Press Synchronize
- Confirm that “NCS 2050 COLLECTION (l.50)” will replace earlier versions. Click 01<.
- Click OK on Capsure Sync program on computer when synchronization is complete.
