Product Usage Instructions
Installation Instructions:
- Unbox your SDHQ Built adjustable headlight sensor bracket for 2023+ Ford Super Duty. Verify that all parts are present and familiarize yourself with them.
- Park your vehicle on level ground with no weight in the truck. Mark the positions of each sensor using a paint marker before starting.
Front Sensors Install:
- Start with the front driver side sensor. Carefully pop the sensor arm off the upper and lower plastic ball joints using a trim removal tool. Remove the sensor assembly held to the frame with a 13mm nut.
- Unplug the wire harness from the sensor. Remove the T25 Torx head screws on the cover and then the 8mm nuts holding the sensor to the bracket. Install sensor bracket using factory hardware, aligning with paint lines drawn.
- Re-install sensor cover, then re-attach sensor assembly to the frame and reconnect factory harness.
- Repeat steps for front passenger side sensor bracket.
Rear Sensors Install:
- Start with rear passenger sensor, remove 8mm bolts, then install provided sensor bracket using factory bolts, aligning with paint lines drawn.
- Repeat for rear driver side sensor.
Final Steps:
- Adjust sensor positions as needed for desired results.
- Double-check all hardware installation and tightness. Re-torque all bolts after 100 miles of driving.

Installation Instructions

Unbox your SDHQ Built adjustable headlight sensor bracket for 2023+ Ford Super Duty. Verify that all parts are present and familiarize yourself with them.

Begin by parking your vehicle on level ground with no weight in the truck. Mark the positions of each of the (4) sensors using a paint marker before starting. Draw a straight line from the sensor to the factory bracket as shown below. If more access is needed to mark sensors at ride height, the vehicle can be supported by the axle to maintain ride height with the wheel off.
Front Sensors Install: -
Begin with the front driver side sensor. When working on the sensor, carefully pop the sensor arm off the upper and lower plastic ball joints using a trim removal tool. Then remove the sensor assembly which is held to the frame using (1) 13mm nut.

Unplug the wire harness from the sensor to allow for more room. Once the sensor is off the truck, remove the (2) T25 Torx head screws found on the cover.

Now remove the (2) 8mm nuts holding the sensor to the bracket. Use the factory hardware to install the sensor bracket. Re-install the sensor cover that was previously removed using the (2) T25 Torx screws. Make sure the sensor position lines up with the paint lines drawn previously. Finally re-install the sensor assembly to the frame and reconnect the factory harness to the sensor.

Repeat steps 2-5 for the front passenger side sensor bracket.
Rear Sensors Install: -
Starting with the rear passenger sensor, start by removing the (2) 8mm bolts using a socket and wrench as shown below. Then remove the sensor arm.

Then install the provided sensor bracket to the sensor arm using the factory bolts previously removed. Make sure the sensor position lines up with the paint lines drawn previously.

Repeat steps 7 and 8 for the rear driver side sensor.
