Product Usage Instructions

  • Before installation and operation, read the included documentation thoroughly.

  • A: No, only use the granules provided in the bag by the manufacturer to ensure safe operation.

  1. For indoor use and in housing only. Min. temperature of use is 10°C.

NON-FLAMMABLE MATERIAL

  • The fireplace surrounding must be made of non-flammable materials and insulated from any flammable elements of the construction.

  • Use only fasteners and adhesives that are resistant to high temperatures.

  • The space under the device must be closed.

  • Install the glass panes of the appliance by placing them in the prepared holders. Fill the burner with granules.

REFUELLING

  1. Open the lid (I) and turn the device on by pressing it .

  2. If the fuel tank is empty (NO FUEL) – will appear on display (II) or if you want to refuel the fireplace, firmly plug in the fuel pump inlet ‘a’ (you will hear a click sound) and the power cord ‘b’ (III) (REFUELLING) – will appear on display (IV)

  3. If the fuel bottle is secured with the flame restrictor (cap on the bottle’s neck) (V) please remove it before inserting the fuel pump inlet (VI) Place the fuel container stably on the floor and insert the pump hose ‘c’ (VI). Press and hold the button on the pump to start refueling (VII).
    When the fuel bottle is empty, replace it with a full one and continue using the pump (see: section 3 above). The pump will stop refilling when the fuel tank is full (DISCONNECT PUMP) – and will appear on display (VIII).

  4. Unplug the power cord ‘b’. To unplug the pump, hold the pump inlet and firmly press the release button (IX).

  5. Shake the remaining fuel from the hose ‘c’ to the container and place the pump in the bag (X).

FLAME IGNITION

  • When they appear on the display, the device is ready to be launched.
  • Press on the display and then the button. (STARTING) – will appear on display. Firing up of the device takes from 2 to 10 minutes. During the process of firing up, the scent of fumes can be present. When the (STARTING) stops flashing, and the flame high level appears- the device is lit up and has reached the working temperature.

FLAME HEIGHT REGULATION

  • When the flame is on, press the button on the remote or scroll the flame level bar in the mobile app to choose one of the six flame heights. The flame starts on height 4 by default.
  • NOTE. In case of too high a temperature of the device, the flame height will be automatically decreased and locked from changing. If the temperature continues to increase, the flame will be extinguished.

TURNING THE DEVICE OFF

  • To turn the device OFF, press .
  • (COOLING) indicated the device was being cooled. Restarting the flame is possible only after a complete cooldown of the device (READY)- which will appear on display.

PANEL LOCK

  • To lock the device go to then click on and choose between and .

  • Click on to lock the control panel with the Device Lock option. (DEVICE LOCKED) will display on the screen whenever you will try to click any button on the screen.

  • To disable the lock, press and hold the button for 10 seconds, (DEVICE UNLOCKED) will display on the screen.

  • Click on to lock the control panel with the Child Lock option. To start the fireplace, press and hold the button for 4 seconds. To disable the lock, press the button in the Panel Lock menu.

  • The locks can overlap. To unlock a device with child lock and device lock active at the same time, unlock each one separately.

AUTO-OFF

  • To set the Auto Off – go to and then choose. Set the time length by clicking on it. Increase the time by clicking, decrease by clicking a button. Confirm it with the button.

REMOTE CONTROL

  • To pair the remote control with the burner go to and then choose. Click on and then go through the sequence displayed on the screen. Successfully pair of remotes would be confirmed on the screen.

ERROR HISTORY

ERROR 31| The main tank overfilled| Ensure that the fuel pump is used under the instruction

manual. Ensure recommended fuel is being used.

ERROR 32| Pumping time too long in the intermediate tank| Make sure the recommended fuel is used.
ERROR 41| Expansion tank overfilled| Ensure that the recommended fuel is used.
ERROR 99| Communication fault in the control panel| Disconnect the device from the power supply for 10 minutes.

WIRELESS CONTROL CONFIGURATION

  • To pair the device with the mobile app go to and then choose .

  • Click on (DIRECT WIFI) to connect directly to the burner’s WI-FI. Set a SSID and password for connection, once you submit confirmation will be displayed by the icon in the right corner.

  • Turn on the Wi-Fi on your mobile device and find the one you set before on the list. Connect to it using the password you set. Switch on the Planika FLA4 app, the message (FINDING DEVICE) will appear on the screen. The application will automatically search for the fireplace.

  • Click on (HOME WIFI) to connect with available Home Wi-Fi networks. Choose the network from the list and input the password. Confirmation would be displayed by the Wi-Fi icon on the right corner.

FUEL – Use only ethanol fuel produced from plants in the process of two-time alcohol distillation consisting of 95-96.6% ethanol by volume. Fanola is the recommended fuel with pharmacological purity. DO NOT USE SYNTHETIC PETROLEUM BASED FUELS AS THEY ARE CONTAMINATED, EMIT UNPLEASANT ODORS AND CAN DAMAGE THE FIREPLACE! DO NOT USE FUELS CONTAINING 100% ETHANOL BY VOLUME, GEL, OR AROMATIC FUELS!

CLEANING

  • Clean with a damp cloth and delicate detergents, only when the device is turned off and cooled.
