Getting Started
In the Box:
- 1x MP120 to Ring Terminal Long 3′ with 80 A Fuse (SKU 98108)
- 1x MP120 to Ring Terminal Short 2′ (SKU 98109)
- Tank Rework SOP
Installation Instructions
Tank Disassembly
- Remove the 4 corner Allen head screws.
- Remove the 2 center Phillips head screws.
- Lift the lid and remove the positive terminal 13mm bolt and washer, then remove the negative terminal 13mm bolt and washer. Set bolts and washers aside for reassembly.

- Keep Goal Zero Yeti Tank in a well ventilated area.
- Do NOT allow water to enter the Yeti Tank enclosure, the Goal Zero Yeti Lithium, or the Goal Zero Yeti Link.
- Do NOT short the battery terminals.
- Do NOT heat above 122°F/50°C or incinerate.
- Recharge Tank after use.
- Tank battery must be recycled or disposed of properly at end of battery life. Compatible with Yeti 1000, 1000X, 1400, 1500X, 3000, 3000X, and 6000X Lithium Power Stations.
- Ensure cable is fully inserted and tightly in place before use. Check upon subsequent uses.
- Tipping hazard – do not stack Tanks more than two high.

Tank Disassembly
- Remove the 4 corner Allen head screws.
- Remove the 2 center Phillips head screws.
- Lift the lid and remove the positive terminal 13mm bolt and washer. Then remove the negative terminal 13mm bolt and washer (Fig. 2). Set bolts and washers aside — will need for reassembly.
Lid Disassembly
- Remove the lid assembly and set it on a level, smooth work surface.
- Remove the fuse holder cover by grabbing and squeezing the sides while pulling up .
- Remove the two 9/16” nuts from the fuse holder .
- Remove the wires and fuse from the fuse holder .
- Remove the cables from the lid .
- These items will not be reused and can be discarded in the household trash. Note: If an old fuse is installed the holder may be clear or black.
Lid Assembly

New cables and the new fuse holder to be used. Note: The new fuse holder has a black base . Remove the clear plastic lid from the new fuse holder.

Orient the new fuse holder with the connected red cable on the right. Insert the shorter “To Exp Tank” cable through the hole in the lid.. The red positive ring terminal connects to the right side of the fuse block with the red battery cable . Remove the nuts on the new fuse holder and replace on top of the ring terminals in this step and the next step.

Insert the longer “To Yeti Link” cable through the hole in the lid and connect the red ring terminal to the left side of the fuse holder. Note: Red cables MUST be connected as described to ensure correct operation of fuse in event of an incident.
Note: New cables will be inserted through this opening. It may be necessary to use a round file to enlarge the opening for the new cables. -
Tighten the nuts on the fuse holder and attach the clear cover.

Align the lid assembly to the battery housing as shown and attach the black cables to the negative terminal using the bolt and washer from the disassembly.

Attach the red cable from the fuse holderto the positive terminal using the bolt and washer from the disassembly.

Turn the fuse holder sideways and route the cables as shown.

Ensure the cables are routed as shown.

Carefully align and close the lid.
Tank Assembly
- Once the lid is aligned and flush, re-install the 4 Allen head corner screws .
- Re-install the 2 center Phillips head screws .
