Product Usage Instructions

Charging the Speaker
To charge the speaker:

1. Open the rear cover and connect the speaker to an AC adapter using the provided USB (Type C to A) cable.

Turning On the Speaker
To turn on the speaker:

1. Press the power button.

Connecting via Bluetooth
To connect the speaker to a smartphone via Bluetooth:

1. Turn on the speaker.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
3. Select LG-XO3Q(XX) from the list of available devices.
4. Play music from your smartphone to test the connection.

Connecting to an External Device
To connect an external device:

1. Turn on the speaker.
2. Open the back cover and connect the external device to the AUX terminal using a 3.5 mm stereo cable.
3. Turn on the external device and start playing music.

Using the LG XBOOM App
To use the LG XBOOM app:

1. Download and install the LG XBOOM app from Google Play or App Store.
2. Run the app and explore its functions such as EQ, Wireless Party Link, Lighting, Sleep Timer, and Settings.

Connecting and Using the Speaker

1. Charge the speaker before using it by opening the rear cover and connecting the speaker to an AC adapter (not provided) by using the provided USB (Type C to A) cable.

2. To use this speaker, turn it on by pressing the power  button.

3. Connect the speaker to a smartphone via Bluetooth

4. Press the Power button to turn on the product. Bluetooth LED blinks.

5. Tap the Settings button on your smartphone and select Bluetooth. Turn on the Bluetooth function. (  Off ›   On)

6. From the list of smartphone devices, find and tap on “LG-XO3Q(XX).”

7. Once the smartphone is connected via Bluetooth, the Bluetooth LED will turn on. Play a desired track in the music app on your smartphone.

8. Connecting to an External Device

9. Press the Power button to turn on the product.

10. Open the back cover of the product and  connect the external device to the AUX terminal via a 3.5 mm stereo cable.

11. Turn the external device on and start playing.

12. Connecting the LG XBOOM App

13. Find the LG XBOOM app on the Google Play or App Store and install it on your smartphone.

14. Run the LG XBOOM app and use its functions. (EQ, Wireless Party Link, Lighting, Sleep Timer, Setting etc.)

15. Power Saving
    If there is no playback or button input for 15 minutes, the product turns off automatically. On the LG XBOOM app, you can enable or disable [Auto Power Management].

• The Power Plug is the disconnecting device. In case of an emergency, the Power Plug must remain readily accessible.

• To clean the unit, use a soft, dry cloth. If the surfaces are extremely dirty, use a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use strong solvents such as alcohol, benzine, or thinner, as these might damage the surface of the unit.

• Do not use volatile liquids such as insecticide spray near the unit. Wiping with strong pressure may damage the surface. Do not leave rubber or plastic products in contact with the unit for a long period of time.

• Do not place the unit over the vehicle’s air bag. When the air bag deploys, it may result in injury. Before using in the car, fix the unit.

• Do not use the handsfree function during driving a car.

• Do not leave the unit on an unstable place such as high shelves. it may fall down because of the vibration of the sound.

• Do not use high voltage products around this product. (ex. Electrical swatter) This product may malfunction due to electrical shock.

• It may cause static electricity in environments of low humidity.
