SUMMIT SWC Series Panel on your PNR Model Installation Guide
Instructions for Installing a Panel on your PNR Model
Your unit is designed to accept a custom overlay panel to be installed on the door frame.
Parts included in this PNR kit:
- (4) Screws
- (1) Top Hinge
- (1) Bottom Hinge
- (2) Plastic bushing for the panel
- (1) ³⁄₁₆” drill bit
Panel/Frame Dimensions:
Exterior: 28 ⅛” H x 5 ⅝” W
Frame Width: 1 ½”
Overlay panel thickness: minimum ¾” thick
Tools not included for PNR kit:
- T15 Fastening Tool Tip
- ²³⁄₆₄” drill bit
Removing the door

Detach the bottom hinge.

Remove the door.

Detach the top hinge using a T15 Fastening Tool Tip.
Attaching the handle (optional) and the panel -
Peel off the gasket.

Use the ³⁄₁₆” drill bit to pierce the stainless-steel door through the four (4) pre-drilled holes on the inside of the door frame to secure the panel.

If using a handle, attach it to the custom panel.

Secure and attach panel to the door frame from the inside by using the provided screws.
Installing the door -
Reinstall the gasket.

You will have to drill a hole into the top and bottom of the custom panel to connect it to the new provided hinges. To do this, line the door up in its final position, using the new hinges as a guide to mark where you will be drilling the holes. Drill a hole through the top and bottom of the custom panel using a ²³⁄₆₄” drill bit.

Secure the top hinge with the tool tip.

Reattach the door.

Secure the bottom hinge.
