TOOLS LIST

  • 2 post lift, alternatively; 2 floor jacks and race ramps
  • Trim removal tool kit
  • 7mm deep well 1/4 inch drive socket
  • 10mm deep well 1/4 inch drive socket
  • T15 Torx bit 1/4 inch drive
  • 22mm deep well 1/2 inch drive impact socket
  • 1/2 inch breaker bar or impact wrench
  • Torque Wrench {140 ft-lbs)
  • Optional: Small rolling stool ~24″ high or similar to place bumper on temporarily
  • Optional: Body Stand

PARTS & HARDWARE LIST

Please double check to ensure you have all the required con1ponents and hardware before you begin installation

  • 1x RSC Carbon Fiber ST Diffuser
  • 1x RSC Carbon Fiber ST Undertray
  • No additional fasteners are required, OEM hardware will be re-used
  1. STEP1

    • Ren1ove rear wheels. Front wheels clo not need to be removed
    • Consult the owner’s manual to locate the proper lift points for your CS.
    • Optional: Tape sean1s between quarter panel and bumper to protect the paint
    • Tools: 22mm Socket, Breaker Bar, CB Jacking Pucks (recommended)
    • Repeat on the opposite side
  2. STEP2

    • Ren1ove 7111m fastener fron1 botton1 of rear mudflap.
    • Separate the 111ucl flap from bumper starting at the bottom eclge and working up ancl forward
    • Tools: 7mm socket
    • Repeat on the opposite side
  3. STEP3

    • Remove 7mm & T15 Torx screws securing the aft half of the wheel liner
    • Pull wheel liner forwarcl to expose 1x 10mm nut and 2x 7mm nuts securing quarter panel to bumper cover
    • The entire fender liner does not neecl to be ren1oved.
    • Tools: 7mm socket & T15 torx bit
    • Repeat on opposite side
  4. STEP4

    • Remove the nuts securing bu111per to quarter panel
    • Tools: 10mm & 7mm hex head sockets
    • Repeat on opposite side
  5. STEPS

    • Ren1ove 4x T15 torx fasteners under each side of the exhaust
    • Tools: T15 torx bit
    • Repeat on opposite side
  6. STEP6

    • Remove the 11x 7111111 head heacl screws securing the undertray
    • Tools: 7mm socket
  7. STEP7
    Ren1ove the 2x push rivets in the lower diffuser trim to release & ren1ove lower diffuser trim
    Tools: T1-im removal tool

  8. STEPS
    Remove the remaining push rivets in the undertray section to release and ren1ove undertray
    Tools: Trim Removal Tool

  9. STEP9
    Open clecklid ancl ren1ove 16x T15 torx fasteners from the bumper (fasteners locations circlecl in orange)
    Tools: T15 torx bit

  10. STEP10
    CAUTION: Bumper sensor connections are fragile! Do not separate bumper more than 6-8 inches prior to disconnecting them
    Grab a helper (or two) ancl separate bun1per cover fron1 car about 6-8 inches horizontally
    We use a rolling shop stool to delicately stabilize the bun1per CONNECTION LOCATIONS

    • Passenger Side:
    • 1 White
    • 1 Black
    • Driver Side:
    • 1 Black

CONNECTION RELEASE

  * To disconnect each electrical connection you will first slide the red safety tab back to release the rocker.
  * Press down on rocker to lift opposite side and disengage the teeth securing the connection.
  * Once pushed down and opposite side raised you can separate the connections safely 
  1. STEP11
    Disconnect all three electrical connections ancl separate the rear bumper fron1 the vehicle

  2. STEP12
    Remove both parking sensors from the parking sensor brackets on the diffuser
    Tools: trim 1’e111oval tool

  3. STEP13
    Place burnper cover on a bocly stancl brake lights facing clown and remove the 2x 7mm fasteners on the lower leading eclges on each end of the diffuser
    Tools: an assistant to hold bumper cover, 7mm socket

  4. STEP14
    Rernove 16x plastic clips that fasten OEM diffuser to bu111per cover.
    Then flip bumper cover over and separate diffuser fron1 bumper cover (save clips)
    Tools: Trim removal tool

  5. STEP15
    Align RSC diffuser tabs with slots in bu111per cover and push diffuser into place.

  6. STEP16
    Re-install the 2x 7mm hex head screws you removed froI11 the stock diffuser ancl bun1per
    Tools: 7mm Socket RSC-C8-ST-2pc-Diffuser- \(19\)

  7. STEP17
    Re-install the 16x plastic clips that fasten OEM diffuser to bun1per cover.
    Tools: Trim removal tool

  8. STEP18
    Re-install both !Jumper sensors into the RSC Diffuser
    Tools: Trim Removal Tool

  9. STEP19
    Remove OEM J-clips circled in orange and install them onto the diffuser and undertray as shown

  10. STEP20
    Position bumper cover about 6-8 inches from tl1e rear of car and plug in tl1e three electrical connectors circled in orange (1 large wl1ite, 1 small back and 1 large black)
    Tools: An assistant to hold bumper oveI’

  11. STEP21
    Align bumper cover and push into place Align bumper cover and push into place
    OPTIONAL STEP

    • With bumper on car re-install the 2x T15 at each corner of the bu111per ancl 2x T15 in the n1iclclle holes to temporarily secure buI11per cover.
    • Then ensuring the vehicle is stabilized or on all 4 wheels, briefly start the car to ensure there are no errors fro,11 the electrical sensors or parking sensors.
    • It’s n1uch easier to check the connections now than after you have finished reinstalling the entire bumper.
  12. STEP22
    Double check bumper cover sea111s are aligned correctly and reinstall the 16x T15 torx fasteners (fasteners locations circled in orange)
    Tools: T15 torx bit

  13. STEP23
    Pull liner back. Reinstall the 10111m nut & 2x 7111111 fasteners securing bu111per to rear quarter panel. Next reinstall the T15 fasteners into the wheel liner.
    Tools: 7mm socket and 10mm deep well socket

  14. STEP24
    Reinstall the T15 fasteners into the wheel liner.
    Tools: 7mm socket

  15. STEP25
    Reinstall rear mud flaps by pushing clips into slots working from top to botton1.
    Then reinstall the 3x 7mm fasteners in the wheel liner on each side of the vehicle
    Tools: 7rnm socket

  16. STEP26
    Install undertray by reinstalling the Sx 7mn1 fasteners
    Next reinstall the push rivets, noting only 2 of the 3 push rivets are re-used due to the sl1ape changes of the ST Diffuser the middle one will not engage
    Tools: 7mm socket and T15 torx bit

  17. STEP24
    Reinstall wheels, tighten wheel nuts and lower car.
    The suggested torque spec at the time this manual was written was 140ft lbs. Double check owner’s manual or ensure the Torque Spec for your vehicle is the sa111e.
    Tools: 22mm socket, torque wrench and jacking pucks
