Attention
The device must be able to be disconnected from the electrical network; the plug must therefore be easily accessible after installation.

Use

  • Before first use, clean all parts of the refrigerator with a soft cloth dampened in lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Rinse them thoroughly with clean water and dry them with a dry cloth.
  • Note: The electrical parts of the refrigerator can only be cleaned with a dry cloth.
  • Place the thermostat knob on position “3”, then turn on the appliance. The compressor is running and the interior refrigerator light comes on.
  • Close the door. After 30 minutes, if the temperature in the refrigerator drops significantly, this shows that the refrigeration system is working properly. When the refrigerator has been running for a while, the temperature will adjust to the setting provided that you do not leave the door open for too long.
  • If the above steps have been completed successfully, the setup operations are complete. The refrigerator is operating normally.
  • The device is supplied with two plastic tips (in the plastic bag in the user manual). After installing these tips, the device can no longer be pushed against the wall to ensure adequate ventilation. Insert the tips into the corresponding openings on the back of the device, then screw them in.

Place the device against a wall with a clear distance not exceeding 50-75mm

Control the temperature

  • The temperatures in the refrigerator compartment and the freezer compartment are controlled by the thermostat located at the top of the refrigerator compartment.
  • Turn the thermostat knob to adjust the temperature inside the refrigerator. There are 7 temperature settings on the thermostat: from “0” to “7”. The first setting “0” means “OFF” while the 7th setting “7” indicates the lowest temperature in the refrigerator. Turn the thermostat knob from position “1” to “7”, the temperature gradually decreases.
  • Set the thermostat knob to position “3” or “4” during normal use.

The coldest area of the refrigerator
This symbol below indicates the location of the coldest area in your refrigerator. This area is delimited near the fan, and at the top by the symbol or by the shelf positioned at the same height.

To ensure temperatures in this area, be careful not to change the positioning of this shelf.

Installing the temperature indicator
To help you properly adjust your refrigerator, it is equipped with a temperature indicator (delivered in the instructions bag) which will allow you to control the average temperature in the coldest zone.

WARNING:
This indicator is only intended for use with your refrigerator. Be careful not to use it in another refrigerator (in fact, the coldest zone is not identical), or for another use.

Checking the temperature in the coldest zone

  • Once the installation of the temperature indicator is completed, you will be able to regularly check that the temperature of the coldest zone is correct. If necessary, adjust the thermostat accordingly as previously indicated. The interior temperature of the refrigerator is influenced by several factors such as the ambient temperature of the room, the amount of food stored and how often the door is opened.
  • Take these factors into account when adjusting the temperature.
  • For the proper conservation of food in your refrigerator particularly in the coldest zone, make sure that the temperature indicator appears “OK”.

If “OK” does not appear, the temperature is too high. Set the thermostat to a higher position. Wait at least 12 hours before readjusting the thermostat. After loading fresh food into the appliance or after repeated openings (or prolonged openings) of the door, it is normal that the inscription “OK” does not appear in the temperature indicator.

Food preservation

Troubleshooting

If your device exhibits symptoms other than those described above, please call the store’s authorized service center or dealer.

The following symptoms are not faults:

  1. The sound of refrigerant flowing through the pipes can be heard, this is normal.
  2. Moisture on the exterior surface of the device during humid seasons is not a problem, simply wipe the surfaces with a soft, dry cloth.
  3. The compressor and condenser may heat more during periods of high heat.
  4. The door frame is a little warm, which means the condenser is working to remove moisture from the air.

Specifications techniques

TECHNICAL SHEET ON THE ENERGY LABELING REGULATION: 2019/2016/UE

Relationship between energy label 1060/2010/EU and the new energy label 2019/2016/EU

  • The current label 1060/2010/EU uses the A+++/D labeling system, which has become less effective. The mixed scale of the label with numerous « + » is no longer transparent and the majority of products are already in the first 2 to 3 classes today.
  • Therefore, the European Union has revised and optimized the label according to user needs. The new 2019/2016/EU energy label will only contain energy classes A to G. The class levels will be regularly updated.

Warranty exclusions

The warranty does not cover wearing parts of the product, nor problems or damage resulting from:

  1. Surface damage due to normal wear and tear of the product;
  2. Defects or deterioration due to contact of the product with food or liquids and due to corrosion caused by rust or the presence of insects;
