Product Usage Instructions

1. Download and install the APP (APP: Star Eye):
   • Method 1: App Store Download
   • Android phones: Search for ‘Stareye’ in app stores
   • Apple devices: Search for ‘Star Eye’ in the App Store
   • Method 2: Scan the QR code to download after scanning the QR code, download and install according to the system (Android or iOS)
2. Networking interface:
   • Click on Add Device in the upper left corner or below
   • Choose the appropriate network connection method based on the device type and interface prompts
3. Bluetooth connectivity:
   • According to the interface prompts, confirm the device status
   • After searching for a device, select the device to connect to

Reverse Scanning Networking (Wifi only devices)

1. Confirm successful device reset according to the prompts on the page
2. Select a 2.4G hz network, enter the WiFi password, and click Next Step to generate a QR code
3. Align the device lens with the QR code (15 to 30 centimeters)

Device AP Networking (Wifi only devices)

1. According to the interface prompts, click to go to W configuration, find the device hotspot, and return to the APP
2. Successfully connected AP allows for viewing of camera content over a short distance without network access
3. After a successful AP connection, follow the prompts to connect to the network by selecting an available WiFi, entering the password, and waiting

Device networking

Download and install the APP (APP: Star Eye)

• Method 1: App Store Download
• Android phones searching for Stareye in app stores Apple searches for ‘Star Eye’in the App Store
• Method 2: Scan the QR code to download
• After scanning the QR code, download and install it according to the system Android or iOS

Networking interface

1. Click on “Add Device” in the upper left corner or below
2. Choose the appropriate network connection method based on the device type and interface prompts

Bluetooth connectivity

1. According to the interface prompts, confirm that the device status is as described in the interface
2. After searching for a device, select the device you want to connect to
3. card status query is normal and automatically connects to the phone
4. WiFi device select available WiFi enter the correct password and automatically connect to the phone

Reverse scanning networking

(Wifi only devices)
Note: Black Light Series does not support this feature

1. Confirm successful device reset according to the prompts on the page
2. Select a “2.4G hz” network that can be connected enter the WiFi password and click “Next Step” to generate a QR code
3. Align the device lens with a QR code, approximately 15 to 30 centimeters. If not connected after some time, please follow the prompts on the page to go to the AP network

Camera function

note

1. All permissions reminded when downloading the app need to be opened
2. It is recommended to Factory reset before configuring a new camera

Method of Factory reset

1. After the camera is powered on press and hold the reset button for approximately 8 seconds. When the indicator light turns blue the red light slowly flashes and the device is successfully factory reset
2. Before starting the setup, please plug in and turn on the power within a range of strong Wi-Fi signal close to the router
3. The camera needs to be turned off when inserting a memory card
4. It is normal for the phone to be unable to access the internet after connecting to the hotspot of the camera The hotspots of the camera are only for connecting and watching up close

Pilot lamp

1. Not restored to factory, alternating blue and red lights flashing quickly
2. Reset the completed light off
3. Waiting to connect to the network red light slowly flashing
4. No network connection red light always on
5. Abnormal network connection, a blue light flashing quickly, and a red light constantly on
6. On the internet, the blue light flashes quickly
7. Successfully connected to the network, the blue light remains on
8. During the device upgrade, the blue light slowly flashes and the red light remains on

Product warranty terms
