GETTING STARTED WITH SPOKEO

Charging Instructions:
Spokeo Smart Mic (microphone) and Spokeo Sound Boost (headset) have been engineered to be charged together seamlessly.

• First, attach Smart Mic to Sound Boost’s pogo pin socket (see 5 and 11 on page 10).
• Once properly inserted, plug the USB C cable to the headset charging port (see 6 on page 10) and to a power source on the other end (wall charger blocks or any other power source).
• While charging, a red indicator light will be visible, which will turn green once fully charged (see 8 on page 10).

Using Spokeo in microphone mode 3 easy steps

• Powering ON Smart Mic (microphone)
  Press and hold the orange button for 3 seconds until the blue LED light turns on. (see 9 on page 10).

• Switching the headset to microphone mode ****
  Slide the headset’s orange button to the microphone setting (see 3 on page 10).
  Once connected to Smart Mic, Sound Boost notifies System connected

• Powering ON Sound Boost (headset)
  Slide the black button from OFF to the desired volume preset 1 or 2. (see 4 on page 10).
  Once powered ON, Sound Boost notifies Power ON and System connected once connected to the Smart Mic?

Switching OFF Spokeo

• Sound Boost: Turn Sound Boost off by sliding the black button to OFF (see 4 on page 10). Sound Boost notifies Power off and power indicator LED light (see 1 on page 10) switches from blue to red to off.
• Smart Mic: Press and hold the microphone ON/OFF switch button (see 9 on page 10) for 3 seconds and release. The microphone LED light indicator switches from blue to red to off. (see 10 on page 10).

Using Spokeo in Bluetooth mode 3 easy steps

• Switching the headset to Bluetooth mode
  Slide the headset’s orange button to the Bluetooth setting (see 3 on page 10).

• Powering ON Sound Boost (headset)
  Slide the black button from OFF to the desired volume preset 1 or 2.
  (see 10 on page 10). Once powered ON, Sound Boost notifies Power ON.

• Connecting to an external device:
  Turn on Bluetooth on the external device and search for new device to connect to. Select «Spokeo» from the list of available devices and press “Pair”.
  Once connected to the external Bluetooth device, Sound Boost (headset) notifies System connected.

Switching OFF Spokeo Sound Boost:
Turn Sound Boost by sliding the black button to OFF (see 4 on page 10). Sound Boost notifies Power off, and power indicator LED light  (see 1 on page 10) switches from blue to red to off.

Spokeo Sound Boost (Headset)

Cleaning and maintenance

Use cleaning wipes designed for electronics to sanitize both Sound Boost (headset) and Smart Mic (microphone). Avoid using any corrosive materials or harsh chemicals. Store Spokeo in a dry, moderate-temperature environment for optimal longevity.

Initial Setup
Perform a full charging cycle before initial use for both Smart Mic (microphone) and Sound Boost (headset).

Battery life and charging cycle
To optimize the battery lifespan, use Spokeo at least once every two weeks and recharge it after use. The charging time for a full charge is a maximum of 2 hours, providing up to 5 hours of continuous use. If needed, you can use another CCC certified compatible charger.

Volume level warning and hearing damages

For safety reasons, always start by setting your Sound Boost headset to volume preset 1. If you find the sound intensity insufficient, switch to volume preset 2.
When using Spokeo in Bluetooth mode, make sure to begin with the external Bluetooth source volume set to 50%, and adjust it as needed.
