Installation Guide

Precautions:

  1. Before installation, power up the unit to verify that all functions are working correctly. Do not forcefully pull or tug on wiring during installation, and ensure that connectors are not inserted incorrectly or in reverse.
  2. lf the unit functions and displays normally before installation but experiences issues after installation, it’s likely that installation-related problems have occurred. Check for any short circuits in the connection wires or whether the pins inside the connectors are misaligned, causing a short circuit.
  3. During the installation process, it is strictly prohibited to damage or modify the original wiring. If any wiring is damaged during installation, it must be replaced with an entirely new set of wiring before powering up the unit.

How to Install the Rear Camera?

Rear Camera (available for separate purchase)

use the rear cable and connect it to the camera, with the red wire attaching to the positive terminal of the car reverse light.

Connection Methods

Wireless Connection:

Ensure that your iPhone/Android smartphone has Bluetooth enabled.
Search for “Cosuvow-*****” in your Bluetooth settings and connect to it.

Once connected via Bluetooth, CarPlay (iPhone) and Android Auto (Android) will automatically initiate.

Note: After the initial connection, when you start your car again, CarPlay will automatically reconnect.
Wireless Connection

Wired Connection:

Use a USB cable to connect your smartphone to CarPlay (iPhone) and Android Auto (Android).

FAQ

For a Frozen or Unresponsive Device?

  1. Attempt a reboot to see if the device can be restarted.
  2. lf a reboot doesn’t work, perform a system reset.
  3. lf the issue persists, contact the manufacturer’s customer support or after-sales service for assistance.

If the Device Doesn’t Power On?

  1. Check if the power supply line is properly connected.
  2. Attempt to power on the device by connecting it to a computer.

FM does not receive the radio station?

( Can not receive the station check below 2 points)

  1. The antenna plug is not fully inserted, the antenna is disconnect or the line is disconnect.
  2. Search channel, on the FM menu page, perform a channel scan search.
    If the above 2 points don’t work, please unplug the antenna plug and find a screwdriver or a metal strip to insert into the antenna port to see if it works or not.

Does CarPlay work with Siri?

Yes, Siri integration is a key feature of CarPlay. You can use voice commands to make calls, send messages, play music, and more.

How to get sound from your car stereo?

The carp lay stereo has a built-in speaker, but if you want louder sound, you can transmit it to the car speaker: With the FM radio transmitter, you can connect between the device and the car radio Connect an FM radio to do the same on the channel (please avoid using a channel occupied by an FM station). If there is one on the car, plug it into the original auxiliary interface in the car through the AUX cable.
