Programming Keyboard Keys

  1. Use the software provided.
  2. If the software is not downloaded automatically, open the Microsoft Store.
  3. Search for HP Accessory Center and download the app.

Components Description

  1. Programmable keys: To change default functions, use HP Accessory Center.
  2. Power light: Solid white (5 s) indicates the keyboard is on. Slowly blinking amber means low battery – replace them.
  3. Receiver light: Two white blinks and pauses (180 s) indicate the receiver channel is selected but not connected.
  4. Bluetooth buttons and lights: Press the button for 2 s to enter pairing mode. Solid white (5 s) means connected. Slowly blinking white (180 s) indicates pairing mode.

NOTE: To save battery life, turn off the keyboard and numpad when not in use.

Q: How do I know if the keyboard batteries are low?

A: The power light will slowly blink amber to indicate low battery levels. Replace the batteries promptly.

Q: How do I pair the keyboard via Bluetooth?

A: Press the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode. Enter the 6-digit PIN displayed on your computer to complete the pairing process.

  • Connect the keyboard and numpad to one computer using the receiver and up to two computers via Bluetooth®.
  • To program the keyboard keys, use the software. If the software does not download automatically, on your computer, open Microsoft Store.
  • Search for HP Accessory Center, and then download the app.

Components description

  1. Programmable keys
    • To change the default functions, use HP Accessory Center.
  2. Power light
    • Solid white (5 s): The keyboard is on.
    • Slowly blinking amber: The batteries are low. Replace the batteries.
  3. Receiver light
    • Two white blinks and pauses (180 s): The receiver channel is currently selected, and the receiver is not connected to a computer.
    • Solid white (5 s): The keyboard is connected to the computer that the receiver is inserted into.
  4. Bluetooth buttons and lights
    • Press the button for 2 s to enter pairing mode to connect to a computer. To pair, enter the 6-digit PIN that displays on the computer.
    • Solid white (5 s): The keyboard is connected or reconnected to the computer that is paired with the illuminated Bluetooth channel.
    • Slowly blinking white (180 s): The illuminated Bluetooth channel is in pairing mode.
    • Two white blinks and pauses (180 s): The keyboard is reconnecting to a previously paired device.
    • NOTE: To extend battery life, be sure to turn off the keyboard and numpad when not in use.

  • NOTE: This box is simply a placeholder. PI Statement(s) do not have to fit inside the box but should be placed in this area.
