Please read and understand the safety precautions before using or maintaining the equipment.

• Do not open or repair the instrument in any way. It is strictly prohibited to illegally modify or change the performance of the laser transmitter of the instrument. Please keep the instrument properly and do not place ii in the place where children can reach ii.
• Do not use the instrument laser to illuminate your own or other people’s eyes and other parts of the body, and do not shine the laser on the surface of highly reflective objects.
• The electromagnetic radiation of the instrument may cause interference to other equipment and devices. Please do not use the instrument near aircraft or medical equipment, and do not use the instrument in flammable and explosive environments.
• Dispose of discarded batteries and instruments in accordance with your local laws and regulations.
• When the battery symbol blinks, charge it in lime.

Overview

The NF-277L laser distance meter can measure distance, length, height, and spacing, as well as calculate area and volume.
II also includes functions for triangle area measurement, trapezoid measurement, Pythagorean measurement, automatic horizontal measurement, automatic vertical measurement, countdown measurement, sound alerts, record saving, level bubble, green cross line, and Bluetooth. This measuring instrument is suitable for both indoor and outdoor measurement tasks.

Product Functions

Instructions for Use

1. Turn on & off 
   Power On: Press and hold the” CLEAR ” button for 2 seconds to turn on.
   Power Off: Press and hold the” CLEAR ” button again for 2 seconds to turn off.

2. Single Measurement
   Short press” MEAS ” to activate the laser. Press ” (MEAS ” again to perform a single measurement. The current result will be displayed on the main line.

3. Continuous Measurement
   Press and hold ” (MEAS) ” for 1 second to enter continuous measurement mode. The maximum and minimum values will be displayed. In continuous continuous measurement.

4. Area and Perimeter Measurement
   In non-area and volume measurement modes, short press” “8 ” once to enter area and perimeter measurement mode. Short press the” MEAS ” button to measure the width (1) and length (2) for the area and perimeter. The area (S) and perimeter (C) will be calculated, with the area (S) displayed on the main line.

5. Volume Measurement
   In area measurement mode, short press ” !” ” once to enter volume measurement mode. Short press “(MEAS ” to measure the length (L), width (W), and height (H) of the volume. The calculated volume (V) will be displayed on the main line.

6. Continuous Area Measurement
   In volume measurement mode, short press ” !: ” once to enter continuous area measurement mode. Short press” (MAS) ” to measure the wall height. Press ” (MeS) ” again to measure the width (W1) of wall 1, and the instrument will automatically calculate the area of the wall as height × W1. Press” (MEAS) ” to measure the width of wall 2, and the instrument will automatically calculate the total area of the walls as height × (W1 + W2). This process can be repeated: total area = height × (W1 + W2 + W3 + … + Wn).

7. Triangle Area Measurement
   In continuous area measurement mode, short press ” !” ” once to enter triangle area measurement mode. Short press” MeAS ” to measure the lengths of the three sides of the triangle (02 3). The instrument will calculate the area of the triangle (S) and display it on the main line.

8. Trapezoid Area Measurement
   In triangle area measurement mode, short press ” !” ” once to enter trapezoid area measurement mode. Short press ” * to measure the lengths of the two parallel sides 0. 2 and the height 3. The instrument will calculate the area of the trapezoid (S) and display it on the main line.

9. Single Pythagorean Measurement
   In continuous area measurement mode, short press ” !! ” once to enter single Pythagorean measurement mode. Short press MEAS * to measure the hypotenuse length • and the horizontal side length 2. The instrument will calculate the length of the other vertical side (L) and display it on the main line.

10. Secondary Pythagorean Measurement 1
    In single Pythagorean measurement mode, short press ” !! ” once to enter Secondary Pythagorean measurement mode. Short press “(MAS” to measure the lengths of the hypotenuse O, horizontal side 2, and another hypotenuse 3. The instrument will calculate the length (L) between points 0 and 3 and display it on the main line.
    Secondary Pythagorean Measurement 2
    In Secondary Pythagorean measurement mode, short press once to enter Secondary Pythagorean measurement 2 mode. Short press ” ” to measure the lengths of the two hypotenuses D. The intu hot wiltal side the length (L) between points D and 2 and display it on the main line.

11. Automatic Horizontal Measurement
    In trapezoid measurement mode, short press once to enter automatic horizontal measurement. Short press “§”to measure the length of the inclined side 1. The Instrument will automatically measure the angle (a) between the inclined side and the horizontal side, calculate the vertical length 2, and the horizontal length (L), and display them on the screen.

12. Automatic Vertical Measurement
    In automatic horizontal measurement mode, short press once to enter automatic vertical measurement. “§” Short press to measure the length of the first inclined side CD and the second inclined side@ of the vertical surface. The instrument will automatically measure the angle ( 8) between the two inclined sides and calculate the length (H) between points 1 and 2, displaying it on the main line.

13. Countdown Measurement
    In automatic vertical measurement mode, short press once to enter countdown measurement.
    Use the” + “and ” -” buttons to the countdown time. Press to start the countdown measurement. When the countdown time elapses, the length (L) will be automatically measured and displayed on the main line.

14. Settings
    In the single measurement interface, long press the” :: ” button for 3 seconds to enter the settings. Short press the button to switch between settings, and press the”+” or “-” buttons to adjust parameters.
    Press the button to exit.

15. Addition and Subtraction
    Only in single measurement, area measurement, and volume measurement modes, after obtaining a result, short press”+” or”-” the button to enter addition and subtraction calculation measurement. Press to calculate another result, then the two results will be used for addition or subtraction, and the result will be displayed on the main line.

16. Unit Conversion
    Press and hold the ” UNIT ” button for 2 seconds to initiate unit conversion. UNIT{0.000m—->0.00ft—->0in—->0’00”)

17. Reference Switch
    Press the “ UNIT ” button to switch between front and rear references.

18. Record Saving, Viewing, and Deleting
    After measurement completion, short press to save the record. Long press to enter record viewing mode. Use the “+” and “-” buttons to browse through the historical records. Long press the combination keys for 3 seconds  to delete all records.

19. Cross Line Functionality
    Long press the ” + ” button for 2 seconds to enter the cross line function. Press”MEAS” to test, and press” CLEAR’ 2. “to exit.
    Note: The cross line laser is strong, do not shine directly into the eyes.

20. Electronic Level Functionality
    Long press the ” -” button for 2 seconds to enter the electronic level function. Press” CLEAR’ 2.” to exit.
