NOYAFA NF-B509 Wire and Cable Tracker
Please read the manual carefully before operating this unit.
- Both the Transmitter and Receiver were powered by Lithium Battery.
- Don’t put the device in a dusty, wet or hot (above 40 °C) place.
- Don’t disassemble, or maintain the device without professional knowledge.
- Pis get out the batteries.
- Pis don’t use the device for telecommunication in thunderstorms to keep safe.

Scan

Two Modes: Switch between Analog mode and Digital mode by pressing” ” “ “buttons (Without Load S600m; With LoadS1 OOOm ).

Digital Mode: Anti-Jamming, recommended to use with the load on 1 ODOM switch.

Analog Mode: Recommended to use while tracing cable without load.

Transmitter: Default to digital mode, use left/right to switch between modes.

Receiver: Default set to digital mode, press scan to switch between modes.
Remarks
- The Transmitter and Receiver should slay the same mode, otherwise the receiver can’t detect the signal.
- The sensitivity switch was designed to adjust the sensitivity of the receiver the max depth is 10cm, and the max length is 600m (without load) and 1 000m (with load).
- The thesignal indicatorwill turn to purple, the darker of the purple is the stronger of the signal is.
Continuity Test
- Two Modes: Check continuity with Receiver or Switch.
- Check with Receiver: Can test the continuity/ cross and short circuit status of the cable.
- Check with Switch: Can only check the continuity of the cable.
- Take the continuity test with receiver for example.
- Insert one end of the cable into the continuity testing port on the top of the transmitter, and the other end into the port on the bottom of the receiver, Choose the continuity testing function, and press” “to test. Testing results as below:
Cable Length Measurement
- Choose .. .. function from the screen, Insert one end of the cable into the length port, Set cable type and unit then press” “to measure the length, the result will be displayed as twisted pins ( Best range : 5-200m).
PoE Testing
- Choose PoE function from the screen, Insert the cable into PoE port press ” “to test the voltage of the PoE.
Port Flash
- Choose the port flash icon” ” Press OK to use the function (1 OM/1 OOM/1 DOOM).
Multimeter function
- Choose the multimeter icon” ” to enter the function, use” ” and” ” to switch among DC voltage/ AC voltage / Resistor / Continuity / Capacitor/ Frequency/ NCV /Temperature , press” ” to test.
Set
- Choose Language/ Backlight level/ Backlight Time/ Auto Off.
Power Indicator
- Transmitter: Pis charge the battery when the battery icon shows very low; The battery icon will keep on moving when been recharged; Pis cut off power the battery is fully recharged.
- Receiver: Pis change the battery when the power indicator is blinking.
