NOYAFA NF-8509 Wire Tracker With Multimeter
Product Introduction
NF-8509 multifunctional digital multimeter and wire tracer is designed with cable testing function and multimeter function.
- Network cable testing functions: cable length test,wire continuity test, wire scanning test, POE test, and Port flash.
- Digital Multimeter (DMM) functions: AC/DC voltage test, continuity test, diode test, temperature test, NCV test, resistance test, AC /DC current test.
Note: Wire scanning is enabled by default after turn on the device.
Operating instructions of cable testing functionality

Wire scanning: In wire scanning mode, press “ ” button, the screen shows “1” indicating digital wire scanning mode. Press “ ” button again, the screen shows “2” indicating analog wire scanning mode.
Note: maximum wire scanning distance: < 600 meters under no load; < 1, 000 meters under load. -
Wire mapping: Press button to enable wire mapping function, then press “ ” button to perform wire mapping test (up to 2,000 meters).

Port flashing: Press “ ” button to enable port flashing function, then press “ ” button to perform port flashing detection (10M/100M/1,000M identification).

Length test function: press “ ” button to enable length test function, then press “ ” button to perform length test (range: 5-200 meters).

POE function: Press “ ” button to enable POE function, and the device will automatically detect the POE voltage.
Operating instructions of multimeter functionality
After power-on, press “ ” to enter the multimeter function mode. Press “ ” button again to switch among AC voltage, DC voltage, diode/continuity, NCV, resistance, DC/AC current, frequency, and ambient temperature tests. After selecting the desired function, press “ ” button to start testing. The device defaults to AC voltage test.
- AC/DC voltage measurement: 600mV-61 0V.
- Continuity test: to detect the connectivity performance of wires and various conductors (the buzzer will sound when resistance is below 500).
- Diode measurement: to identify the polarity and forward voltage drop of diodes (0-3.3V).
- NCV function: AC signals can be detected when the device is close to the AC signal source (0-4 levels).
- Resistance measurement: 600O-60MQ.
- AC/DC measurement range: 1 mA-3A DC (accuracy: ±0.8%+3).
- Frequency: 0-10MHz (accuracy: ±1.0%+3).
- Others: to display the ambient temperature.
Battery level indication
- Transmitter: 0% indicate low battery level, please recharge ii in time.
- Receiver: Power indicator flashes, indicating low battery level, please replace it in time.
