SAFETY INSTRUCTION

Please study the instruction manual and below information carefully before installing or using this product. Please keep this user manual for further reference

  1. The luminaires may only be installed by authorized and qualified technicians according the valid regulations for electrical installation.

  2. Maintenance of the luminaires is limited to their surfaces. During maintenance no moisture can come into contact with any areas of the terminal connections or voltage control parts.

  3. The electrical supply must be switched off at the outset, preferably by means of a switch in the distribution box, before any installation, maintenance or repair work is undertaken.

  4. Exterior lighting must not be installed during rain.

  5. Take account of the minimal separation distance from other objects and the room required around the fitting.

  6. If in any doubt, consult a professional, taking local installation requirements into account. Some countries stipulate that lighting may be installed only by registered installers.

  7. Clamping screws in electrical connections must be adequately tightened. This is particularly the case with 12V low voltage conductors.

  8. Clean with a clean, dry cloth or brush, use no solvents or abrasives. Avoid dampness on all electrical components

  9. Take account of all available technical information.

  10. Meaning of symbols:
    This luminaire cannot be disposed together with normal domestic waste in standard rubbish can, but you have to bring it to a staging area for electrical waste

  11. Take note of the symbols when connecting wires:

MAINTENANCE TIPS

.Because of the fan’s natural movement,some connections may be loose.
To check the support connections, brackets and blades attachments 2 times a year.Make sure they are all secured(lt it not necessary to dismantle the entire fan from ceiling).

  1. Clean your fan periodically to help maintain its appearance over the years.Do not use water when cleaning,use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish.
  2. The plating is coated with a lacquer to minimize the ratio of discoloration or tarnishing which would damage the motor or the wood or possibly cause an electric shock.
  3. You can apply a light coat of furniture varnishing to the wood for additional protection and enhance its beauty.Surface scratched mark can be touch-up with a light coat of shoe polish.
  4. There is no need to oil your fan.The motor is created with lubricated sealed ball bearings.

MAKE SURE THE POWER IS SWITCH OFF AT THE ELECTRICAL PANEL BOX BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO ANY REPAIRS(REFER TO THIS SECTION),MAKING ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS.

SAFETY PRECAUTION

IMPORTANT:PLEASE READ BEFORE INSTALLATION

  1. The installation work must be carried out by a qualified wiring installer.
  2. Turn off the Electrical Main Switch at the circuit breaker fuse box.
  3. Using power supply 220-240V / 50Hz.
  4. When mouting the fan,to ensure the safety cable is loop across the ceiling mounting “J” hook.
  5. The ceiling mounting hook must be able to with hold a min. of 35 pounds.
  6. The ceiling fan must be mounted at a min.height of 2.3meters of clearance from the floor.
  7. Do not insert any objects in the path of the blades.
  8. When all electrical connections are done, store all wires neatly.
  9. Make sure all screws and connections are tightly screwed and secured.
  10. The supply wires live and neutral must be connected to a double pole switch having a contact of at least 3min in all poles.

WARNING-

TO REDUCE THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY,DO NOT BEND THE BLADES BRACKETS DURING ASSEMBLY OR AFTER INSTALLATION.
DO NOT INSERT ANY OBJECTS IN THE PATH OF THE BLADES.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SHOCK,THIS FAN MUST BE INSTALLED WITH AN ISOLATION WALL CONTROL/SWITCH.

FAN STRUCTURE DRAWING

INSTALLATION OF LIGHT KITS

  1. Remove one screw from the switch box,unscrew the other three screws out 3-4mm.
  2. Install E27 light kit: Attach the light kit to the switch box. Total two wires from the switch box.
  3. Connect the light wire to the switch box wire: Black to Black, Blue to Blue.
  4. Pointing the holes of light kits to the three screws by pushing up and twisting clockwise.
  5. Fasten the first screw back to the hole and tighten all four screws firmly.
  6. Install the bulb. 220-240V/50Hz E27-20W(MAX)
  7. Carefully lift the glass shape by pushing up to the light fixture and twist clockwise until it is held tightened in place by the three tabs.

Do not place any objects, such as clothing, on the device
Be careful with long hair. These can be sucked in by the airflow, keeping sufficient distance.

INSTALLATION OF FAN BLADES

  1. Install blade-to-blade bracket using the supplied screws. Star a screw into the bracket,repeat for the two remaining screws.
  2. Tighten each screw securely.
  3. Remove the three resistance pieces and ten screws from the motor.
  4.  Assemble and attach the blade bracket to the motor holes, install it with the ten screws.

Tighten each screw securely onto the motor. Wamng,
Do not poke any objects or fingers through the protective screens
Do not place any objects, such as clothing, on the device
Be careful with long hair. These can be sucked in by the air Aow, keep sufficient distance.

INSTALLATION OF HANGER BRACKET:

  1. To use two Expansion Setscrew to install the hanger bracket firmly.
  2. To use four long screws to install the hanger firmly.

INSTALLATION OF DOWN ROD/HANGER BALL

  1. Remove the screw and bolt from the hanger ball as fig 3 ; Remove the “R” pin and cross pin from the down rod.
    Notice: The download with the hanger ball is 4 inch, if it’s not enough, please use the 10-inch rod before next step.

  2. Put the canopy and the decorative cover into the downrod, then thread the wire through the downrod.

  3. install back the screws and bolt to the hanger ball, and ensure to fasten the screws.

  4. insert the down rod into the connector, loosen the two setscrews in the download support. Install back the cross pin and secure it with the “R” pin. Fasten back the two setscrews.

  5. The “R” pin must be properly installed to prevent the cross pin from working loose.

HANGING OF CEILING FAN

  1. .Carefully lift the fan and assembly into the hanger bracket which is attached to the outlet box.
  2.  Ensure the rod ball’s groove is lined up with a tab on the hanger bracket.

WIRING OF CEILING FAN

  • Total four colors of wires connected from the top of the motor:
    • Brown: Live wire for fan
    • Black: Live wire for light
    • Blue: Neutral wire
    • Yellow&Green:Earth wire
  1. Connect the bracket single male end(yellow&green wire) to the motor single female end(yellow&green wire).
  2. Connect the remote control output 4 male end to the motor 4 female end.
  3. Connect the remote control input 4 female end to the bracket output 4 male end.

NOTE: ALL THE MALE END AND FEMALE END MUST BE CONNECTED WELL
TO ENSURE THE MOTOR AND REMOTE CONTROL WORK NORMALLY.

INSTALLATION OF CANOPY:

  1. After doing up the wiring. attach the canopy to the hanger bracket by pushing up and twisting to locate screws in the two keyholes.
  2. Tighten the two screws firmly. (fig 9)
