Welcome!
Thank you for purchasing your new CWOWDEFU Kids Tablet. This
User Manual will provide step-by-step instructions to help you learn
to use your new device. After opening the box, please make sure the
package contents are available for you.

Warm Tips

  1. Do not disassemble the product or accessories.
  2. Do not use alcohol, thinner, or benzene to clean the surface of the device.
  3. The device should be charged for about 4 hours during the first three charge cycles.
  4. Do not store the device in places with high temperature, humidity, or dust. Avoid dropping or strong impact.
  5. Use an appropriate volume setting. High volume may cause hearing damage when using headphones.
  6. To charge the device, use the included Type-C USB cable and AC adapter.
  7. When transferring data to/from a computer, do not suddenly disconnect the cable; this may cause the device to malfunction.
  8. Obey all local laws and regulations when using the device, such as when driving or aboard an aircraft.
  9. The device and included accessories are not water resistant or waterproof.

Hardware Overview

Initial Setup
To get started with your new tablet, ensure that your tablet has been fully charged before the first use. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds until you see the CWOWDEFU logo on screen. Allow 10 seconds for the tablet to power on. You will be prompted to start the initial setup process.

To get started with your new tablet:

  1. Ensure the tablet is fully charged before first use.
  2. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to power on.
  3. Select language and connect to Wi-Fi network during initial setup.

Note : If the touch screen becomes unresponsive, insert a small pin or paperclip in the reset hole to restart the tablet.

Step 2:
Wi-Fi setup: A list of Wi-Fi networks will appear. Tap your network name. If your Wi-Fi network is password protected, you will be prompted to enter the password. Tap Continue.

Step 3:
Enter the username and click “Next”. Protect Your Tablet: Create password or select “Not now” and set it later.

Tap/Click ”SKIP ANYWAY”. Click “MORE”, and then click ”ACCEPT”. Wait a few seconds to get into the desktop.

Software Overview

Home Screen
Your Learning Tab features the Android operating system, version 11.0. The included Google Play gives you access to a catalog of over one million apps. This is the default home screen in Grown-up mode. To learn about using Kid’s Place, refer to the chapter, “Managing Kid’s Place”.

Swipe down from top of screen to access quick settings.

Navigation Bar
The navigation bar along the bottom of the screen allows you to switch between apps. In some apps, the navigation bar becomes hidden. To reveal it, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen. The left button, back, takes you back one screen. The center button, home, takes you to the home screen. The right button, recent apps, brings up thumbnails of recently used apps; tap one to Switch to it.

Google Services – Quick Setup

  1. Wi-Fi connection required to access Google Services. First connect to a network.
  2. Sign in with an existing account or create one. You can create a new account for the child that is linked to an existing adult account; this allows the parent to be notified when changes occur or a new device is logged into.
  3. The Account Added screen provides conformation the account has been added.
  4. Additional services such as “Backup to Google Drive” can be accepted to save and preserve data (pictures and files).
  5. Sign in to Google Play to update existing apps or download new apps. Kids Place software and Google Services may change or update without any advance notice. Parents are responsible for additional installed apps or websites allowed on this product. Always backup any important data before resetting the tablet.

Factory Settings
Factory reset will erase all data from your tablet’s internal storage. Please back up important data on the device before resetting your tablet. Go to Settings > System > Advanced > Reset Options > Erase all data (factory reset), then tap Erase all data to reset to the manufacturer’s default setting.

If you forget your password, please follow the instructions to do a factory reset:

Managing Kid’s Place

Entering Kid’s Place
If you are using the tablet in Grown-up mode, remember that your Grown-up PIN will be required to exit Kid’s Place.

Step 1:
Locate and tap the CWOWDEFU icon on the home screen to enter Kid’s Place

Step 2:
Click/Tap on OK license agreement (iWawa) after viewing it.

Step 3:
Click the icon in the lower of left corner and create your 6 digit PIN and select “✔”

Choose a category

Enable/Disable Internet Access for Kid’s Place Apps
You may choose to allow or disallow certain apps from being used in Kid’s Place. Kid’s Place allows you to select which apps may connect to the internet. This option is useful, for example, to allow apps to receive updates, or to disallow apps that may display various advertisements.

Step 1:
Select Apps for Kids Place; You may choose to allow or disallow certain apps from being used in Kid’s Place.

Step 2:
Select Websites for Kids Place; You may enable/disable internet access for Apps, you can also add websites by clicking “Add” on the right corner.

Note: Selected app or websites (with check mark) will show up as approved app or websites for kids on the Kids Place home screen. Scroll right for more apps or websites to choose.

Time Management
This section allows you to define the time limits you wish your little one to apply to the profile. Session Control allows you to define the play time per session and the rest time in between sessions, while Global Control defines a start time and stop time during the day.

Select a timer mode option and then press “OK”

Tap on “EXIT” button in the lower left corner, Enter PIN

Step 4:
If you forget your PIN, please Enter 257518 reset Password

If you forget your password, please enter 257518 as reset password or send a mail to password-reset@iwawakids.com to get a reset password code.
