Product Information

The Ceiling Suspension Kit 2.0 by MEMBANTU is designed for installing hammocks, twin hammocks, or cradles with or without a cradle bouncer in wooden structures. The kit includes a ceiling hook, a 0.5m nylon strap with 7 loops for adjustable length, and a carabiner for secure attachment.

Product Installation Instructions

1. Install the ceiling hook securely into the wooden structure.
2. Choose the desired length of the nylon strap and mount it on the ceiling suspension, ensuring the excess loops hang freely without cutting them off.
3. Attach the hammock or cradle bouncer to the carabiner and tighten the screw lock.
4. Perform a load test with approximately 25 kg weight to ensure stability.
5. Conduct a height test by ensuring at least 10 cm space underneath the hammock/cradle. Test regularly as the baby gains weight.

• Can I use the Ceiling Suspension Kit on any type of ceiling?
  The kit is specifically designed for wooden structures. Ensure proper installation on a sturdy wooden surface for safety.

• How do I adjust the length of the nylon strap?

WHAT’S IN THE BOX

   With the ceiling suspension, you can install your Membantu hammock / twin hammock / cradle with or without the cradle bouncer in wooden structures. The nylon strap has 7 loops, allowing you to easily adjust the length of the strap.

INSTALLATION

1. Drill a hole with a depth of at least 45 mm in the wood using an Ø7 mm wood drill bit.
2. Install the ceiling hook.
3. Choose the desired strap length and mount it on the ceiling suspension. Allow the excess loops to hang freely. DO NOT cut them off.
4. Attach the hammock/cradle bouncer to the carabiner and tighten the screw lock.
5. Test the installation with a load of approx. 25 kg. Note:
6. During the load test the ceiling hook must stay in place without moving.
   Important: Height test! When installing the hammock, sufficient space underneath is required (minimum 10 cm). You can test this by fully extending the spring until the spring strap is fully stretched. Remember to place a weight equivalent to your baby’s weight in the hammock during the height test. Test this regularly as your baby gains weight.

WARNING !

• The ceiling hook is only suitable for installation in wooden ceilings and wooden structures. Use appropriate raw plugs when installing in plaster or concrete ceilings. If you are unsure about the installation, please consult professional help • Incorrect installation may result in the ceiling hook detaching from the ceiling. Danger of injury and/or product damage • The ceiling hook should only be used on horizontal surfaces
• Do not use for installing swings or other purposes • Max load capacity: 25 kg.
• Before use: Always make sure the carabiner is closed and locked in place.
