LG Canada LDPH5554S Built In Dishwashers
This quick install guide is designed to eliminate the need for the owner’s manual. For complete installation details, refer to the owner’s manual included with the dishwasher.

Installing
Step 1 – Drill Hole in Cabinet
Drill a 1-1/2″ diameter hole in the cabinet wall within the shaded area shown for the drain hose, water line, and electrical wiring. The hole should be smooth with no sharp edges.
Step 2 – Prepare Electrical Wiring
See the Installation Instructions for details on electrical requirements.
- Ensure the house wiring, the water line, and the drain hose are routed through the hole in the cabinet.
- Position the dishwasher in front of the cabinet opening.
Step 3 – Remove Disposal Plug
If you connect to a sink disposal, you must remove the disposal plug. Refer to the disposal manual for instructions.
Step 4 – Install Drain Hose
Install the drain hose to the dishwasher drain port. Use a hose clamp to secure it.
Step 5 – Slide the Dishwasher into Cabinet
Slide the dishwasher into the cabinet opening. Make sure the drain hose is not kinked.
Step 6 – Check Dishwasher Balance
Check that the dishwasher is level and adjust the legs if necessary.
Step 7 – Attach the Installation Brackets
Attach the installation brackets to the top or sides of the dishwasher and secure them to the cabinet.
Step 8 – Connect Water Supply
Connect the water supply line to the dishwasher inlet valve. Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.
Step 9 – Connect Electrical Wiring
Connect the electrical wiring to the dishwasher. Refer to the Installation Instructions for details.
Step 10 – Test the Dishwasher
Run a test cycle to ensure the dishwasher is operating correctly.

- Place this dishwasher close to the sink for easy access to water supply and drain lines.
- Do not push the dishwasher into the cabinet opening by the door. Use the sides for pushing.
