FIAMMA Vent F Pro Rooflight Instruction

In the event of doubts or questions concerning the installation, use or
limitations of the product, contact the dealer. We recommend that the
installation is carried out by qualifi ed personnel and in compliance with
current local regulations.
Installation instructions
- Decide where the roofl ight should be installed and make a square hole of 40cm. The roofl ight can be installed on roofs with thickness between 28 and 55mm.
- Seal the lower part of the external frame with a minimum width of 10 mm by following the appropriate rails. Recommended sealant: SIKALASTOMER-710 / THEROSTAT II / DEKALIN 1512.
- Place the external frame in the opening hole making sure that the hinges are facing the front of the vehicle.
- Place the inner frame and proceed with the installation of the roofl ight using the 11 supplied screws:
- Screw Ø3,5×30 mm to use for roof thickness between 28 – 44 mm.
- Screw Ø3,5×45 mm to use for roof thickness between 44 – 55mm.
- Observe the recommended tightening torque Max 1.5Nm.
- Install the mosquito screen in the dedicated seat with the 4 supplied screws M4x12.
- Insert the 6 supplied pick springs in the inner frame, paying attention to place them in the proper seat.
- Insert the hand wheel joint on the drive shaft of the opening mechanism.
- Mount the roller blind frame pressing on the inner frame and fi x the proper pick springs, during this operation make sure that the cover of the roofl ight is perfectly closed and in the safety position and that the hand wheel is in its seat. Remove the protective fi lm from the cover. Do not expose the product to UV rays for too long because it can make this operation diffi cult.
Instructions for use
OPENING AND CLOSING THE COVER
- Opening: pull the hand wheel from its seat and turn it in the direction of the arrow, 7 turns: complete opening of the cover.
- Closing: pull the hand wheel from its seat and turn it in the direction of the arrow, the cover closes completely after an audible click. To ensure a reliable function of the opening mechanism do not force the hand wheel rotation more than a quarter turn beyond its end position while opening and closing
OPENING AND CLOSING THE ROLLER BLIND:
- Insert the fi ngers in the proper concave seat on the roller blind and pull it to the desired position.
- In strong sunlight, only close the roller blind two thirds of the way to avoid a build-up of heat.

The assembly of the product must be carried out according to the assembly instructions: the product must not be modifi ed in any way. Before proceeding with assembly, check that the roof thickness is compatible with the product. Before choosing the place where to assembly the roofl ight, check that:
- the product doesn’t interfere with adjacent accessories (luggage racks, cables, reinforcements in the roof, cabinets inside the passenger compartment).
- the internal and external surface of the roof is fl at.
Periodically check the tightness of all the screws in the roofl ight, especially after the fi rst kilometres from the installation and always before and after long trips. If the opening-closing device hardens, lubricate the lid opening device with a few drops of grease. It is forbidden to walk on the product cover. Before starting the vehicle, check that the roofl ight is properly closed. Periodically check that the cover is intact. Don’t open the roofl ight when the vehicle is travelling. Don’t open the roofl ight in case of strong wind or rain. Remove snow or ice from the roofl ight. Always comply with speed limits and the Highway Code. The speed should always be suitable to traffi c conditions and transported load.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
For the internal and external cleaning of the roofl ight, always use only neutral, non-aggressive detergents. For cleaning the Crystal cover use an acrylic glass cleaner with a soft cloth so as not to scratch the surface. Never use aggressive products such as glass cleaners, all-purpose cleaners, abrasives or dish-washing detergents. Also, never use alcohol-containing detergents, solvents or any corrosive liquid. The mosquito net can be cleaned with water and a neutral detergent.
