BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging materials and promotional labels. Clean the inside of the
oven and all accessories.
Ensure the oven is at least 25 cm away from the wall (back and sides).
When using the oven for the first time, set it to the maximum temperature for
5 minutes.
Do not place anything in the oven during this time. The oven may emit smoke,
which is normal. The smoke will burn off safely in a few minutes.
COOKING TIPS
Before placing food in the oven on the enamel baking pan, oil the pan. For oily or greasy foods like roast chicken, use two pieces of aluminium foil: place one on the baking pan and use the other to cover the food. This helps prevent oil or grease from splashing during cooking.
OPERATING THE UNIT
Plug the cable into the electrical outlet. The appliance must be earthed.
HOTPLATES
Ensure the chosen hotplate control knob is in the ON position. Use the top control knob to control the large hotplate. Use the middle knob to turn on the small hotplate. Do not operate the hotplates without any pots on them, except for preheating (for a maximum of 3 minutes).
OVEN
Ensure the top knob is set to “OVEN”. Then, turn the bottom control to your desired temperature. When you have finished using the oven, turn the middle control knob to the 0/OFF position, set the temperature dial to 0 and make sure the switches are in the off position.
ROTISSERIE FUNCTION
Use the chicken forks and screws to secure the food, such as a whole chicken, onto the rotisserie stick. Tie the meat tightly with kitchen string. Insert the rotisserie stick into the rotisserie holes inside the oven. Ensure the top knob is set to the OVEN position.
Turn the bottom control knob to your desired oven temperature. When you have finished using the oven, move the middle control knob to the 0/OFF position, set the temperature dial to 0, and ensure the switches are in the off position.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Disconnect the oven by unplugging it from the wall outlet. Allow the oven to cool down. Clean the painted enamel parts of the oven after each use. Leave the oven door open to let it dry thoroughly. Immediately clean any acidic materials like lemon and oils after use.
Clean the wire rack and tray handle with mild detergent and a damp cloth. The enamel baking pan and rotisserie set are dishwasher safe.
