Product Usage Instructions
Charging your Sound Spot II
To charge your Sound Spot II, follow these steps:
- Connect the USB cable to the PD power adaptor.
- Ensure the power adapter meets the required output specifications.
- Observe the charging indicator for status updates.
Checking Battery Level
To check the battery level, observe the color of the power indicator:
- White: Power adaptor connected
- Green: Battery-powered (high level)

Charging your Sound Spot II
Important:Choose the right USB-PD adaptor (not supplied) The Sound Spot
II is designed to work with a 20W USB-PD (Power Delivery) power adaptor for
its functionality and performance. Please make sure the right PD adaptor is
chosen before plugging in for charging. The PD adaptor output rating should
support 9V / 2.22A (or above) for proper operation.
The Sound Spot II would not charge or power up if a “non-PD” type USB-C power
adaptor is connected.
- Connect your Sound Spot II with the supplied USB cable to your PD adaptor for charging at the back of the unit. NOTE: The supplied USB cable is ONLY for connection to the PD power adaptor. Do not use the supplied USB cable for charging iPhone 15. For charging iPhone 15, please make sure to use the original iPhone15 USB cable to avoid damage or malfunction.
- The power indicator will flash slowly to indicate charging is in progress when the unit is powered off in standby mode

NOTE: Some PD power adaptor with multiple output ports may have insufficient shared output power while charging multiple devices at the same time. In case of having charging problem, please try to disconnect some devices on your multiple-port power adaptor.
Checking Battery Level
You can simply check the battery level of your Sound Spot II by observing the color of the power indicator when the unit is switched on.

Listening with Bluetooth
Bluetooth Pairing
- Press the POWER button to turn on the unit first or Press the BLUETOOTH button directly to start pairing. The Bluetooth indicator will flash rapidly.
- On your device, open your Bluetooth setting menu to detect available Bluetooth devices for connection. Once the Sound Spot II is detected, select it from the list to connect.
- To break the Bluetooth connection or to pair another new device, press and hold BLUETOOTH button for 2 seconds to disconnect the currently paired device. The Bluetooth indicator will flash rapidly again ready for paring a new device.
Playing Music via Bluetooth
- After pairing, either use the playback controls buttons (PLAY |PAUSE / PREVIOUS / NEXT ) to control the music playback.
- You can adjust the volume level by using the volume up/down (+ / -) buttons or adjusting volume on your paired device.
Using Speakerphone
The personal speakerphone feature allows you to receive and control phone call
on your paired mobile phone.
- PICKUP CALL: After pairing your mobile phone, simply pick up the incoming call by short pressing the PLAY / PAUSE button.
- END CALL: Short press the PLAY | PAUSE button again to end call.
- REJECT CALL: Long press the PLAY | PAUSE button to reject incoming call.
NOTE: The effective pickup range for the personal speakerphone feature is within 1 m (3 ft) from the top of the unit for the best voice quality.
Using DSS (Dual Streaming System) for stereo playback
You can pair up two units of Sound Spot II in True Wireless Stereo (TWS) mode
for music enjoyment.
- Power on and switch to the Bluetooth mode on both Sound Spot II, but DO NOT pair with your mobile device.
- Long press the PLAY button for on the first Sound Spot II for 3 seconds to active the DSS mode. You will hear the DSS connection tone after DSS connection. The first Sound Spot II will be the LEFT channel.
- You can NOW pair your Bluetooth mobile device as usual for music playback.
- To cancel the DSS mode, long press the PLAY button for 3 seconds on either speaker. You will hear the DSS disconnection tone. The first Sound Spot II will continue playback after the DSS disconnection.
NOTE: The DSS mode supports bluetooth music playback in stereo mode after connection. Other music sources (Nature Sound, AUX In and Flash Drive) are not supported in DSS mode. Please disconnect DSS mode first for playback of other music sources.
Listening to Nature Sound
- Press the NATURE SOUND | MUSIC MODE button to toggle to nature sound mode.
- Press the PREV < or NEXT > button to select your desired nature sound effects.
- Press the PLAY | PAUSE button to stop / resume playback.
Listening with AUX IN
- Connect your device with a standard headphone jack using a line-in cable (not included) to the AUX IN port on the side of the unit.
- Press the NATURE SOUND | MUSIC MODE button to toggle to AUX IN mode.
Listening with USB Flash Drive
- Plug your USB flash drive on the side USB music port.
- Press the NATURE SOUND | MUSIC MODE button to toggle to USB playback mode.
- Press the PREV < or NEXT > button to select your desired tracks on your USB flash drive.
- Press the PLAY | PAUSE button to stop / resume playback.
- After playback, it is recommended to unplug your USB flash drive when the speaker is power off to avoid damage to your USB flash drive.
Note
- Sound Spot II supports USB flash drive size up to 64GB. The supported file formats are MP3 and WAV. MP3 (44.1kHz, up to 320kbps) & WAV (8/16/24bit, LPCM 44.1kHz).
- Do not plug in any power adaptor or power source to this USB flash drive port to avoid damage.30
Using Ambient Mood Light
- Press the LIGHT button to turn the ambient light on / off and control the brightness level. There are 3 levels of brightness can be selected.
- Press the LIGHT button again to switch to the breathing mode, the slow breathing effect creates rhythm and an atmosphere that boosts your mood.
Charging Mobile Phone
Simply connect your device to the side USB-C port for charging.

The max. rating of the USB-C port is 5V / 1.5A (7.5W).
The charging current would vary depending on the connected device and charging condition. -
Do not plug in any power adaptor or power source to this charging output port to avoid damage.

The USB-C port provides regular charging and does not support fast charging; some devices such as tablet or powerbank may not charge.

The supplied USB cable is ONLY for connection to the PD power adaptor. Do not use the supplied USB cable for charging your device, it is recommended to use the original USB cable bundled with your device to avold damage or malfunction.
Using Sleep Timer
- Press the SLEEP Timer button repeatedly to select your desired timer duration (30->60->120->OFF).
- After selecting the duration, the indicator will light up and the sleep timer will start automatically. The unit will be turn off when the countdown is completed.
- When the timer is running, press the SLEEP Timer button again will cancel the current countdown and select other timer duration.
- To cancel the sleep timer, press the SLEEP Timer button till all indicators are off.
Auto Power Saving (APS) function
The Sound Spot II has automatic power saving function (by default). The unit
will shut off automatically for power saving after 30 minutes of user’s
inactivity or idled music playback.
To change the APS setting, you can
- Long press the Volume up ( + ) and Volume down ( – ) buttons together for 5 seconds.
- The POWER indicator will flash to confirm the setting.
Disable APS:
APS active = > + press and (5 sec) – = > APS inactive (power indicator flashes 1x to confirm)
Enable APS:
APS inactive = > + press and (5 sec) – = > APS active (power indicator flashes 2x to confirm)
Trouble Shooting
If you experience problem with your Sound Spot II, Please try the steps below first.
- Turn off and then turn on the unit. (page 4 )
- Check the charging indicator and battery level to make sure the unit is properly charged or powered by a PD compatible power adaptor. (page 4)
- Make sure your mobile device has turned on Bluetooth function.
- Move your mobile device closer to the Sound Spot II and remove any possible source of interference or obstruction.
- Check the volume level on your mobile device, music app and your Sound Spot II.
- Try connecting another mobile device with Bluetooth enabled.
- Try another USB PD power adaptor with correct output rating. (page 3 )

Common Problem and Solution

- Try connecting a different mobile device.
No Sound| Make sure your mobile device is connecting to the Sound Spot II, not
other speaker/device.
Sound quality|
- Try disconnecting other paired speaker/device on your mobile device.
- Try a different music source, music app or song on your mobile device.
- Try a different mobile device.
- Check and disable any audio effect or audio enhancement on your mobile device or music app.
Speakphone does not function / pick up the voice|
- End the current call and try call again.
- Try another mobile device.
