Instructions
A1. Ensure your MR-1 is completely powered off and unplugged before
beginning installation of the remote emergency stop kit.
A2. Unscrew the fasteners shown.
A3. Remove the electronics box cover and set aside for re-installation
later

B1. Depress the orange lever on the E-Stop Switch Base and pull it away
from the button until it separates.
B2. Unthread the E-Stop Switch Nut and remove the

- 27mm Wrench or Adjustable Crescent Wrench
Instructions
C1. Locate the end of the Extension Cable Assembly without a terminal
block.
C2. Remove the Panel Nut from the ½ NPT CABLE GLAND and slide the end of
the Extension Cable Assembly, without a terminal block, through the gland,
such that the head of the gland faces away from the terminal block as shown.
C3. Insert the cable gland into the estop mounting hole in the
electronics box, and secure it in place by threading on the Panel Nut. Tighten
the Panel Nut with a 27mm Wrench or Adjustable Crescent Wrench.
C4. Ensure the terminal block sticks out only slightly from the cable
gland, as shown, and tighten the gland head until it firmly grips the cable.
Tighten the head with 2 adjustable crescent wrenches, or 24mm wrenches, one to
hold the body in place and one to turn the head.

Instructions
D1. Loosen the clamping screws on the E-Stop Switch Base screw terminals
and remove the two black wires shown.
D2. Loosen the clamping screws on the empty end of the terminal block and
insert the previously removed black wires. Set the E-Stop Switch Base aside
for later use.
D3. Tighten the clamping screws on the terminal block until the ends of
the black wires are securely held in place.
D4. Re-Install the electronics box cover

E1. Use a hammer and punch to open one of the two knockout holes on the E-Stop Box Bottom Half as shown.

F1. Remove the cable gland nut from the ½ NPT CABLE GLAND and insert it
into the holding slot in the E-Stop Box Bottom Half, next to the previously
cleared knock out hole, as shown.
F2. Insert the free end of the Extension Cable Assembly into the cable
gland, such that the head of the cable gland faces away from the wires ends.

F3. Thread the cable gland into the cable gland nut as shown. Tighten the
head with a 24mm wrench or adjustable crescent wrench until the gland firmly
holds the cable.

G1. Insert the two wire ends into the screw terminals of the E-Stop Switch Base and tighten until the terminal plates clamp down firmly on the wire ends as shown. The system has no polarity, either wire can be inserted into either terminal, as long as one wire is inserted into each terminal.

I1. Secure the E-Stop Switch Button to the E-Stop Box Top Half
using the E-Stop Switch Nut as shown. Ensure the slot in the Estop Is
oriented as shown so it can be installed into the EStop Switch Base.
I2. Depress the orange lever on the E-Stop Switch Base and insert the
E-Stop Switch Button into the Base.

J1. Install the E-Stop Box Top Half on to the E-Stop Box Bottom half using the E-stop box screws as shown. Take care not to pinch any of the E-Stop wiring during installation.

Instructions
K1. Install the E-Stop Box and Bracket Assembly with the fasteners as
shown.
K2. Plug in and power on the MR-1.
K3. Press the E-Stop Button and ensure power to the machine is cut.
K4. De-Latch the E-Stop Button and ensure power returns.
