The game
Cards are a very important element of a place’s culture.
For centuries, playing games has served to improve skills and promote social
relationships.
Traditional games are the language of a community, something that is shared
and that brings its people together.
The deck
It’s a game played with the Spanish deck, which has been modified to be played
with the SES French deck.
It removes the face cards (J, Q, K), the 8s, 9s, 10s, the twos, and the ace of
clubs and hearts.

Dealing
Three cards are dealt to each player. Each player will play one card on their

aren’t two cards of the same suit, the highest-value card is used.
Stakes
- The envido is a bet on who has the highest score.
- If you have two cards of the same suit, add their values and add 20 points.
- If you don’t have two cards of the same suit, only count the value of the highest card.
- If you have three cards of the same suit, consider the two highest and add 20 points.
- Whoever wins the envido adds two points to the overall score of the game. If there’s no bet, no points are added.
- The “envido” can be answered with a ‘tournament’ (two additional points).
Resolution
In case of a tie in the envido, the player with the hand wins.
When an envido bet is accepted, players play the trick and then determine who
won the envido, following the order of the bets.
