Is the rear camers waterproof ? Is it IP67?
Yes it’s waterproof the only thing about the camera when it rains you going to have to wipe it down to really see or use Rain-X on the lens but it is waterproof.
Do you have the manual in electronic format?
I also need to obtain a copy of the manual. The device peppers up displaying both front and rear views side by side. I want to change it to show the rear only by default at power up so I don’t have to swipe the screen to just see the rear view, but I haven’t found anything in the setup options to allow this.
Can this be hardwired into my car for it to be recording 24/7?

The cable included is not long enough for my van. Is there an extension cable that works with this?
There should be one at Walmart or any one that sells electric stuff.
Do you format the card on the PC or the unit?
On the unit. It is very easy to do. The prompt is on the bottom left of the settings menu.
Can i use my car rear camera instead of the one that came with it ?
You can choose to not install the rear camera of this dash cam. If so, only the front view will be displayed and recorded. Other rear cameras may not be compatible with this dash cam and might cause issue. However, if your car rear camera can work seperately, then install the front mirror camera is OK.
I have a 2011 half cab F150, will it be compatible and will the cord length be adequate?
I have a 2022 ford f150 the cord length is long but the backup camera is in my rear window.
Is this Bluetooth or hardwired
Wired, if you mean the camera to the monitor.

Can i purchase the rear camera only?
No. I don’t believe you can purchase the rear camera only. The forward camera is built in to the mirror. This camera is a fantastic dash and rear camera. The rear camera can move slightly up and down. The movement is done from the mirror.
Can I mount the camera on the back of my truck in the elements?
I don’t know what you mean by element but they are all seasons it’s waterproof and everything else so.
Anyone else experiencing random shutter click sounds while the mirror is operating? Mine has done it a few times while driving.
I believe it takes a photo. Look on the voice control, I think the command is Take photo. If it makes the clicking sound like you mentioned. That should be it.
