Hardware/mounting brackets

2x M6 x 1.0 x 60mm Button Head Screws

2x 6mm Washers

2x Gas Struts
Mounting Instruction

Remove the 4 outer torx bolts as shown with arrows, set aside the bolts for later use.

Install the strut ball ends onto the tire rack with the ball ends facing out and tighten down, next mount the struts onto the ball ends with the body of the strut being on the top and the shaft coming out the bottom. Latch the tire rack so it’s in the closed position.

Carefully set the tire rack assembly into the cargo area of the vehicle, because of all the different locations for the shock reservoirs you may need to loosen and move them slightly to clear the tire rack assembly during installation

Loosely install the rear factory bolts that were removed earlier and then using the supplied bolts and washers, install them loosely into the front mounting holes of the cargo area using the factory nuts for the bottom side.
Once all the hardware is started go ahead and tighten everything down, latch the rack and then mount the tire onto the rack. Because of all the different tire sizes and weights, you may need to adjust the latch to get the right amount of preload to prevent rattling. Once done, perform a final check over of all the work completed and enjoy another great product from Electric Off- road Designs!
