Please read this instruction manual carefully before use, and retain it for future reference.

Introduction

Congratulations on the purchase of your new Tulip 2 UVC air purifier, and welcome to the UV Can Sanitize family. We feel honored that you have selected our products to help improve your air quality.

Tulip 2 is a tabletop air purification system that sterilizes and removes 99% of all dust, odor, bacteria, germs, and viruses from the air. In addition to a pre-filter, HEPA filter, and active carbon fiber filter; Tulip contains Samsung UVC LED lights. These lights produce 260-280nm of germicidal power, neutralizing pathogens from the air at a rate of 4590 cubic feet per hour. Adding to its functionality, this device offers your choice of 3 different speed modes (medium, high, and sleep). These features combined make Tulip the perfect choice for almost any environment.

Operating Instructions

  1. For the first use, please note that the adaptor is stored inside the device. To retrieve it, turn the unit upside down and remove the base cover by turning it counterclockwise.

  2. Remove the adapter and return the base cover by turning it clockwise until it is secured.

  3. To enter a standby state, connect the adaptor to the device and a wall plug.

  4. Press POWER on the control panel located on the top of the device, or on the remote control.
    Your Tulip 2 will beep and start-up in ventilation mode. Lights on the top of the device will indicate which purification and speed mode your device is turned to.

  5. To activate UVC disinfection mode, press the UVC button.
    It is safe to run both the UVC and standard filtration continuously, 24 hours a day.

  6. Use the SPEED HIGH , SPEED MID , and SLEEP mode buttons to select the desired filtration and disinfection rate.

  7. The filter lifespan is approximately 2200 hours. When the filter has reached the end of its working life, the filter indicator on the top of the device will illuminate and beep 8 times,

  8. indicating that it is time to replace the filter. Tap the FILTER button once to end the beeping. The filter light will remain on as a reminder, but the appliance can continue to be operated. The beeping will resume each time the appliance is turned on until the filter is replaced.

  9. When the filter is replaced, please tap, and hold the FILTER button for 3 seconds. This resets the indicator light, and the appliance will recalculate the new filter replacement time.

  10. To turn off the device, simply press POWER again on either the top of the device or the remote control.


NOTE:
If your air purifier remains connected to power after turning it off, it will operate according to the last settings used when you turn it on again.
The exception to this is UVC mode. This will need to be manually reactivated any time the device is turned back on.

Product Performance

  1. Purifies the air, absorbing dust, particles, hair, mold, etc while neutralizing harmful bacteria and viruses like Covid 19.
  2. The UVC disinfection lamp is housed safely within the device meaning it is safe to run in occupied spaces.
  3. Removes unpleasant odors from the air such as smoke, waste, sewage, and residual chemicals from a surface cleaning.
  4. The activated carbon filter can also fully filter PM2.5 and Formaldehyde.

Safety Precautions

  1. Please ensure the appliance is unplugged before moving or maintenance.
  2. Do not rinse the appliance with water. Doing so may risk electrical shock or damaging internal operational parts including the motor.
  3. Do not use the appliance near water or flame.
  4. Do not place anything into the power input port other than the power input itself. Doing so may cause irreparable damage to the appliance.
  5. Do not place any object into the air outlet area. Doing so may cause the unit to malfunction.
  6. Place the unit in a location that is safely out of reach of children.
  7. Make sure your hands are dry before inserting or removing the power plug or adapter.
  8. Do not clean the appliance with anything that is acid-based.
    Doing so may cause damage to the appliance.

Maintenance

For your safety, please ensure the device is turned off and the power is disconnected before replacing the filter.

  1. Remove the base cover. To do this, turn the device upside down and turn the base cover counterclockwise.
  2. Remove the old filter. The filter is held in place by the base cover. It should not require any force to remove once the cover is removed.
  3. Discard the old filter.
  4. Remove the new filter from its packaging and slide it in place. Return the base cover and turn it clockwise.
  5. Tap and hold the filter button for 3 seconds to reset the filter indicator light. Your Tulip 2 is now ready for action. Plug it in and resume operation.
