COMPONENTS

SET UP

1. The X220, X330, & X420 X SERIES come fully assembled, ready to grow. Unpackage the fixture and place the light on a safe and stable area directly below the desired hanging location.
2. CAUTION: The LED boards have a conformal coating to resist moisture, but are vulnerable to diode damage if handled improperly. Please make sure LED surfaces are protected from abrasion while handling.
3. For X750 Only. If you plan on mounting the driver remotely, with the optional 8′ DC power cord, skip this step. Locate the driver mounting brackets and use the flat head screws to attach the brackets to the fixture. Mount the driver to the brackets using round head screws.

1. For X750 Only. If you plan on mounting the driver romotely, with the optional 8′ DC power cord, skip this step.
2. Attach the DC output power cord from the driver to the two connections on the fixture.
3. The X750 does not use wire hangers. Attach the ratchet hangers directly to the eyelets.
4. Attach one wire hanger to each end of the light fixture through the metal mounting eyelets found on the top side of the fixture. Lower the ratchet hangers to the center of the wire hanger and connect. Raise the light to the desired position.

POWER CORDS

The KIND LED X SERIES X220, X330, & X420 come with a 6′, 120 V standard power cord, as well as a 6″ (installed) and 3′ DC output cord (not included in the X750). An 8′ DC output cord for the X750 can be purchased at growstrongindtusties.com. For alternative power cord recommendations, please contact a KIND LED Grow Lights customer service representative to assist in your selection.

DRIVER

The driver for the KIND LED X SERIES is capable of being mounted remotely. First, disconnect the original DC output cord from the fixture and the driver. Remove the four (4) mounting screws with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Securely mount the driver in its new location (within 3′ for X220, X330, X420, & with in 8′ for X750) and connect the extended DC output cord to both the fixture and the driver.

BEST PRACTICES

SPECTRUM ADJUSTMENT

• The spectrum and intensity of the light can be manually controlled through the rotary dials on the front of the driver.
• Channel 1 is a targeted full spectrum channel and should always be on. Intensity of this channel will vary for clones, seedlings, and younger plants.
• Channel 2 contains the IR and UV, as well as some additional deep reds, for an enhanced flowering spectrum.
• Please see the chart for recommended intensity levels.

ENVIRONMENT

When using the KIND LED X SERIES, ideal grow room temps should be around 80-85°F. Any lower than this and transpiration can slow, stunting growth. Any hotter than this and heat stress can form.

RECOMMENDED HANGING HEIGHT

The KIND LED X SERIES is designed to excel in close proximity environments but can be used in a variety of applications. For best practices, a minimum height of 6″ above the canopy is recommended. The ideal recommended hang height above canopy is 12″ to maintain the greatest intensity over the largest footprint. To maintain usable intensity at a greater distance, a maximum hang height of 18″ above the canopy is recommended. For applications that require less intensity, such as Cloning Stages and early Vegetative Stages, a hang height greater than 18″ above canopy may be suitable.
