Electric UL10 Anti Barking Unit

INTRODUCTION

If the Reedog UL10 anti-barking unit is within range of a barking dog, the sensitive part – the unit’s two front speakers will pick up the sound, then the unit will automatically activate and emit a high-frequency sound. High frequency sound can only be heard by dogs, it is inaudible to humans. A dog startled by a loud noise that is safe and effective will stop barking because it will associate its barking with this unpleasant sound. When the dog stops barking, the ultrasound stops too. An anti-barking unit provides you with an effective and humane way to train your pets to stop barking.

Bi-color LED lights: Shows battery status and operating mode
Normal: Green LED flashes once every 5 seconds. The red LED lights up when the ultrasonic sound is emitted.
Low battery: Red LED flashes 1x per second.
Test mode: Green LED flashes 1x per second. the red LED is on.

Switch with 4 control levels:

Test Mode – Used to verify microphone and speaker functionality

= Low range – up to 5 meters
= medium range – up to 10 meters
= High range – up to 15 meters

How does the anti-barking unit work?

Installation and setup
The Reedog anti-barking unit should be placed facing the dog and within effective range of the dog. It should be placed at a height of up to 1.5 meters. It can be placed on a tree, hung on a pole, fence post, etc. For best results, the area between the anti-bark unit and the dog should not have any large obstruction.

Battery replacement

The Reedog anti-bark unit uses a replaceable 9-volt battery. When the battery is OK, the green LED flashes 1x every 5 seconds. If the battery is low, the LED will flash frequently. If the LED is off, it’s time to replace the battery. To replace the battery, open the battery door. The battery lasts up to 30 days in operation.

Operating modes
Start using the anti-barking uni with the low range mode (“1”), if the dog does not respond, increase to the medium range (“2”).If the dog does not respond to the medium range (“2”), increase the range to high (“3”). .Switch to test mode to verify that the anti-bark unit is working properly.

Test the Reedog anti-barking unit
Turn the mode switch to the “T” position. Hold the unit with the indicator light facing you. The unit should be at arm’s length from your mouth. .To activate the unit, say Woof loudly towards the microphone. The LED will flash red and a beep will sound to indicate that it is working properly. Before using the ultrasonic booth, switch the mode switch to low range “1”.

Special Notice

Stay at arm’s length from the human ear to avoid hearing damage if the dog starts barking when you build, assemble or hang the ultrasonic house on the bark.
People should also avoid standing too close to the ultrasonic unit when it is on.
This device is intended for use with dogs only. Never attempt to use it for any purpose not described in this manual.

What is the range of the Reedog anti-bark unit?

There are situations when dogs become numb. To prevent this, turn on the outdoor booth only during periods of unwanted barking

Can humans hear ultrasound sounds?
Humans cannot hear ultrasonic sound. Sometimes the speaker can vibrate, which can make a sound

Troubleshooting

The green LED has stopped flashing and no red light is on.

Make sure the battery is installed correctly
Replace the battery
If the green LED still does not flash, contact the relevant customer service center.
