REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS

Additional Information

  1. TIMER – NOTE: The timer mode must be started each time the tree is plugged in or each time power is turned off then back on to the tree.

  2. To enable the timer – Press the TIMER button. The timer will start at the time when this button is pressed. When the timer is enabled the lights on the tree will flash once.

  3. To disable the timer – Press the TIMER button and turn off the lights to disable the timer.
    NOTE: The timer will be enabled until either the timer is disabled with the remote or power is removed from the power adaptor.

  4. This tree has 4 different brightness modes. Press Dim+ to increase brightness, and Press Dim- to decrease brightness.

TROUBLESHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS

Lights Troubleshooting
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, and personal injury.

  • a) Unplug the electrical portion of this product before troubleshooting the electrical portion of this product and inspect the product carefully.
  • b) Lights are non-replaceable do not attempt to replace them.
  • c) Do not connect any other product or device to the connectors or adaptor power supply on this tree.
  • d) Use only the adaptor power supply that was provided with this product.

If the Lights are Not Connected to the Adaptor
Locate the male connector at the bottom of tree Section (1) and align matching tabs on the insides of the connector and the female end of the adaptor power supply. Secure the connection by tightening the collar on the connector. See Figure 6.

If a Section of Lights is Not Working:

  1. Make sure that all the light string plugs within the tree are securely connected. See Figure 7.
  2. Make sure to align the matching tabs on the insides of both connectors as the connectors are keyed.
  3. Check that you have inserted each tree section into the pole firmly to create an electrical connection between each tree section.

If ALL of the Tree Lights are Off or Not Working:

  1. Make sure the lights are connected to the adaptor power supply.
  2. Make sure the adaptor power supply is plugged into a 110V-125V AC outlet.
  3. Check to see if there is power to the outlet. Make sure that the switch controlling the outlet is not turned off and is not connected to a dimmer switch. This item will not work on a dimmer-controlled outlet.
  4. If used on a timer-controlled outlet, make sure the timer is rated for use with compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL) or LED bulbs, if not, use a different circuit or outlet.
  5. If installed on a GFCI circuit or outlet, reset the GFCI in case it is activated.
  6. Check that you have inserted each tree section into the pole firmly to create an electrical connection between each tree section.

If One or More Bulbs are Not Working:
This tree has long-life LED non-replaceable bulbs, it is ok to leave the non- functioning bulb in the set and continue to use the tree. Do not attempt to replace the bulbs.

If the Remote is not Working:
Replace batteries following the battery replacement instructions noted above

  • m) This product is equipped with non-replaceable type lamps. Do not attempt to replace the lamps.
  • n) Use only with the AC power adaptor provided with this product.
  • o) Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provided with the product.

  1. Use only with the included AC power adaptor.
  2. Not for use on outlets controlled by a dimmer.

    • c) When not used, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
    • d) Do not impact or drop the AC power adaptor, if the enclosure is broken or cracked, discard the product.
