Floor Stand Assembly
Note: Our standard floor stand includes a pair of 30 inch scrolls rods, additional sizes and accessories sold separately at www.evertote.ca
- The wheels and lower legs come pre-assembled. Attach the upper leg to the lower leg by using two wooden knobs for each leg. Height can be adjusted in one inch increments from 30-36 inches.
- Attach each end of your crossbar into the top of each upper leg. Add a flat washer then the acorn nut for each bolt. Tighten the acorn nuts using a wrench (7/16″ is best). It is very important that the acorn nuts are kept tight to maintain the strength and stability of the stand.
- Place the extender arm on the carriage bolt, making sure that the squared shoulder under the head of the bolt matches up with the squared hole in the middle of the extender arm.
- Place the grooved spacer onto the bolt, the groove will fit over the width of the extender arm.
- Place the spacer with the wood pin onto the bolt making sure that the two flat surfaces of the two spacers are facing together.
- Now place one of the shoulders onto the bolt. Secure into place using a flat washer, followed by the spring, followed by another washer, and then finally the wing nut. Tighten the wing nut until there are two to three rings of the bolt exposed. You will want to make sure that this is ughtened securely so that the stand does not flop side to side, but not so ught that the flip frame mechanism is difficult to use.
- Repeat steps 3-6 for the other side.
- Attach one of the shoulders to your crossbar, secure in place with a wooden knob.
- Attach your fabric to your scroll rods, then insert your scroll rods into the top and bottom holes of the extender arm of the shoulder that you have attached to your crossbar. Secure into place using two of the wooden knobs that are included with your stand.
- Attach the other shoulder to your crossbar at the appropriate hole that accommodates the length of your scroll rods. Then insert the scroll rods into the top and bottom holes of the extender arm that is attached to this shoulder.
