Product Usage Instructions

Installation

To install the WaterworksTM D5 series, follow these steps:

1. Ensure compliance with local plumbing laws.
2. Install a certified Pressure Limiting Valve to avoid voiding the warranty.
3. Connect the cooler to the mains water supply.

Cleaning and Maintenance

To clean and maintain your cooler:

1. Regularly clean the cold and hot tanks with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly.
2. Sanitize the taps and surfaces using a sanitizing solution recommended by the manufacturer.
3. Check and replace filters as needed, following the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Filter Replacement

To replace the filters:

1. Turn off the water supply to the cooler.

3. Insert the new filter cartridge, ensuring it is securely in place.
4. Turn on the water supply and flush the system according to the filter manufacturer’s guidelines.

D5 SERIES

GENERAL FEATURES

Waterworks™ has been leading the way with POU water coolers since introducing the D5 series, over 20 years ago. This model has often been “copied” but none have been able to equal or better the quality and longevity of the Waterworks™ D5.

• COLD TANK: Huge 14.3-litre high-density polypropylene tank. The tank is tough, rustproof, and is easy to clean with its large radius.
• HOT TANK: 1.8 liters, type 304 stainless steel with 500-watt sheathed heater ensures temperature control. The on/ off switch is easily accessible at the back of the unit.
• CABINET: Gloss Cloud White color. The top and front panels are molded UV-treated ABS. Side panels are zinc-coated steel sheets, covered in polymer polyester resin.
• TAPS: NSF-approved, durable polypropylene lever-type taps with self-closing design and fast flow. Hot safety tap comes as standard on hot/cold models. Optional push taps were now available.
• FLOAT ASSEMBLY: A stage polyethylene float system maintains the water level and shuts off when full.

• Flow rate 2L per minute
• 5 Micron Polypropylene pre-filter for the removal of dirt sediment, rust, and particles.
• Filter replacement – 1900L or 6 months. Ever occurs first

CARBON BLOCK

• 5 Micron Silver-impregnated carbon block for chemical, taste, and odor removal.
• Flow rate 2L per minute
• Filter replacement – 1900L or 6 months. Ever occurs first

SPECIFICATIONS

• REFRIGERATION: Gas R134A. The refrigerant flow is controlled by a capillary tube which has no moving parts. The compressor is hermetically sealed with an automatic overload protector. Lubricant is not needed.
• ELECTRICAL: Certificate number 160793. 220v 50hz single phase. A 1.5-metre power cord is supplied. Full load current is 1.2 amps.
• CONDENSER: Quietly operating, air-cooled with no moving parts.

• The warranty provides comprehensive parts and labor coverage for 36 months from the date of the original.
