CT-1519 Induction Cooker
DEAR CUSTOMER!
Prior to operating the appliance, please carefully read the present manual
which contains important information regarding its proper and safe operation.
Take care not to lose the present manual. The manufacturer will not be
responsible for any damage resulting from improper use of the appliance or
from non-observance of the instructions and provisions of the present manual,
as well as from attempts by unskilled persons at repairing the appliance.
Should You decide to transfer the appliance to another person, please pass the
present manual over along with it.
This appliance is intended for use in domestic and similar conditions, in
particular:
– in kitchen areas for staff in shops, offices and other industrial
conditions;
– on agricultural farms;
– clients in hotels, motels and other residential infrastructure;
– in private boarding houses.
PURPOSE OF THE APPLIANCE: For food preparation by heating it in metal
kitchen utensils.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The appliance purchased by You complies with all official safety standards
applicable to electric appliances in the Russian Federation.
The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid
situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures
of the appliance:
- Carefully read the present manual prior to operating the appliance.
- Retain the present manual.
- Before connecting the appliance to the power supply grid, ensure that its specifications correspond to the voltage indicated on the appliance. Do not use socket adapters as these may be the cause of a fire.
- Do not operate the appliance if its power cable, plug and other parts are damaged.
- In case of damage to the power cable it should be replaced by the Manufacturer or any other skilled personnel.
- A slight unpleasant odor may occur during the first use; it will disappear after using the appliance several times and is caused by eventual residues of lubricants and other substances on internal surfaces and on heating elements.
- Place the appliance in such a way that its surface is located at least 10 cm away from other objects.
- Keep the ventilation openings unobstructed to avoid overheating.
- Do not use the appliance simultaneously with other electric appliances to avoid power grid overloading.
- The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mentally handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by the persons responsible for their safety. Take precautions not to let children play with the appliance.
- Use only vessels designed for use with induction cookers.
- Be careful! The surface of the appliance can get hot during operation.
- Do not heat foods and liquids in tightly sealed containers. Danger of explosion!
- After use wipe its surface with dry or damp cloth to remove drops of fat and food residues. Drops of fat may cause smoke to appear and even lead to ignition.
- The vessel can be very hot after cooking is over. Use special oven gloves or mitts to take the utensil off the cooker. Be careful when opening a lid, hot vapor may be discharged.
- Do not place metal objects, such as knives, forks, spoons, caps, jars, aluminum foil, etc. on the cooker.
- Do not operate the appliance on carpeted floors, tablecloths, vinyl covers and other upholstered surfaces.
- Do not place paper between the cooker and the utensil.
- Do not use the appliance if the cooking surface is cracked or broken.
- Special conditions for transportation (transportation), sale: no.
- The device is not designed to operate from an external timer or a separate remote control system.
- Use the appliance only with the proper connector.
WARNING! If the surface is cracked, turn off the device in order to avoid electric shock.

OPERATION
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove the appliance from its packaging. After transport or storage at low
temperatures keep the appliance for at least 2 hours at room temperature
before turning it on. Fully unwind the power cable, wipe the housing of the
unit with a
damp cloth.
Before connecting the unit to power supply ensure that its external parts are
not damaged, chipped or dented. Place the appliance on a hard, dry, level
metal surface, away from sources of heat and open flame. Take care not to
place the unit near decorative coatings, electronic devices and other objects
that may be damaged by high temperature. Provide gaps of at least 10 cm
between the front and back sides of the cooker and walls to ensure proper
ventilation.
CHOOSING UTENSILS FOR COOKING
Use only utensils compatible with induction cookers, with the bottom diameter
ranging from 12 to 22 cm. Look for the corresponding manufacturer’s markings.
You can check if the utensil is suitable for use by holding a magnet to its
surface.
If the magnet attracts to the bottom of the utensil it can be used with the
cooker.
The following utensils are unsuitable for induction cookers: made completely
of stainless steel, glass, wood, porcelain, ceramics and faience.
Do not use vessels with irregular edged and curved bottoms. Ensure that the
base of the vessel is smooth, fits snugly to the glass plate and has the same
dimensions as the induction heating zone. Align the bottom of the utensil with
the heating zone.
Always lift the utensil off the glass surface – do not drag it as it may
scratch the glass.
OPERATING PROCEDURE
Connect the appliance to power supply.
Place a suitable vessel in the center of the heating zone. Ensure that the
vessel base and the cooking surface are clean and dry. Turn the appliance on
by pressing the ON/OFF button. The display will show the “ON” message. Select
the desired program – the appliance will start operating. To adjust the output
press the OUTPUT button and adjust with the “-” and “+” buttons. When the
program time is over the appliance will turn off automatically. To adjust the
unit working time, choose the TIMER option.
You can turn the appliance off by pressing the ON/OFF button.
ATTENTION! The cooking surface gets hot during operation. Do not allow
drops of water, fat or other liquids to get on the cooking surface.
ATTENTION! There may be audible noise during the induction cooker’s
operation. This noise is not a sign of malfunction.
LOCK
If you press the LOCK button for more than three seconds, the device will
enter the lock mode. To release the lock, hold down the LOCK button for more
than three seconds.
TIMER
The timer is designed to set the cooking time (from 1 minute to 3 hours).
Press the TIMER button and set the desired cooking time with the “-” and “+”
buttons.
MAINTENANCE
- Disconnect the power cable from the electric socket and wait for the cooking surface to cool down.
- Clean the cooking surface every time after use while it is still warm. This will prevent spilled liquids, fat, food residue and other contaminants from drying out.
- Wipe the cooking surface with a soft cloth dampened in a mild detergent only.
- Check if the ventilation openings are clear. If necessary clean them with damp cloth or a soft brush.
ATTENTION! Do not use coarse napkins, sponges and abrasive materials, as well as aggressive chemicals.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The packaging and the appliance itself are made of recyclable materials.
Whenever possible, please discard those into a waste container provided for
recyclable materials.
DISPOSAL
Upon expiry of its service life the appliance can be disposed of separately
from ordinary domestic waste. You can turn it over to a specialized electric
and electronic appliance disposal and recycling centre. The materials will be
processed in accordance with their classification. By turning the discarded
appliance over for recycling You will make a considerable contribution to
environmental protection. You can obtain a list of electric and electronic
appliance disposal and recycling centers from Your local municipal
authorities.
CERTIFICATION DATA, GUARANTEE
The service life of this item is 5 years since the date of sale to the end
user, provided the item will be used in strict accordance with the present
manual and the applicable technical standards. Upon expiry of the service life
please contact the nearest authorized service centre for suggestions as to
further operation of the appliance. The manufacturing date of the appliance is
integrated into the serial number (digits 2 and 3 – year, digits 4 and 5 –
month of manufacture). If any questions related to appliance maintenance
should arise, or if the appliance has malfunctions, apply to the CENTEK TM

DEAR CONSUMER!
The guarantee period for all appliances amounts to 12 months from the date of
sale to the end consumer. With this Warranty Card the Manufacturer confirms
the proper condition of the appliance and undertakes to repair, free of
charge, all defects caused by the Manufacturer’s default.
GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS

The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions are observed:
• The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the of appliance model, serial number and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card.
The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous. -
The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:
• the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
• the safety rules and requirements are observed. -
The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.

The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:
• mechanical damage;
• normal wear of the appliance;
• non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;
• improper installation or transportation;
• natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;
• ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;
• repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;
• use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility and telecommunication networks incompliant with national technical standards;
• failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance:
a) remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units and chargers;
b) consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);
• for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;
• for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging. -
The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.

The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumers or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.

Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance).
The Manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the appliance without prior notice.
