Product Usage Instructions

  • The microwave sensor has a detection zone of 12m x 6m. The Daylight On setting ranges from 5-50 Lux and can be adjusted or disabled. Daylight Off setting ranges from 25-150 Lux and can also be adjusted or disabled. The standby period is adjustable, and the motion detection range is between 0.3-3m/s.
  • The detection area can be adjusted to determine the effective range of the motion detector. This can be set using DIP switches at the sensor itself. Note that reducing sensitivity will narrow the detection range.
  • The product features a Master/Slave function that allows for multiple units to be connected and controlled together. Please refer to the specific wattage and lumens output for each model.

FAQ

  • Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity of the microwave sensor?
  • A: The sensitivity of the microwave sensor can be adjusted by changing the position of the DIP switches located on the sensor itself. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions.
  • Q: What is the recommended installation height for ceiling and wall mounting?
  • A: The suggested installation height for ceiling mounting is 3m, while for wall mounting it is 2m. Following these recommendations ensures the optimal performance of the product.

Parameter setting of microwave sensor

Detection Area

  • This determines the effective range of the motion detector and is set by DIP switches at the sensor itself, refer to figure. Note that reducing the sensitivity will also narrow the detection range.

Daylight

  • This allows the sensor to switch the unit on or off when ambient light is either full daylight, low daylight, or after dark. It also allows the sensor to be disabled.

Stand-by Dim Level

  • This refers to the brightness of the “Low light period”. It is set with DIP switches at the sensor itself, refer to figure.

Hold Time

  • This determines the time the fitting remains at 100% level on motion detection and is set with DIP switches at the sensor itself, refer to figure. The walk test setting is useful when installing the fitting to establish correct operation and range.

Stand-by Period

  • This refers to the “Low light period”, when it is set to +∞, the luminaire gives a photocell prioritized function, meaning the luminaire is off when ambient brightness accesses the set threshold, and automatically on to a low light level when ambient brightness is lower than the set threshold, and turns to high light level when it detects a movement. It is set with DIP switches at the sensor itself, refer to figure.

Functions

Selectable brightness

  • Different brightness settings by DIP switches on the driver.

Selectable colour temperature

  • Different colour temperature settings by DIP switches on the LED plates.

Maintenance

  1. Cut off the main power first.
  2. Don’t use chemical reagents to clean lamps.
  • The installation must only be done by an electrician with the appropriate qualifications.
  • Keep this manual for future installation and service.
  • This product contains a light source of energy efficiency class E.

WARNING
Danger of electric shock! Risk of fire!

  • Improper installation can cause personal injury and property damage.
  • Switch off the current before installation or maintenance.
  • The control circuit must be separated from the mains voltage by basic insulation.
  • Use only starters, light sources and rated wattage as marked in the luminaire.
  • The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer his service agent or a similarly qualified person.
  • Do not dispose of electrical and electronic devices including their accessories with the household waste.
  • When the luminaire is at the end of its life cycle, it must be disposed of according to local recycling guidelines.
