Product Usage Instructions

SIM Card Attachment

Step 1. Prepare a 4G Nano SIM with caller ID, data package, and VoLTE service.

Step 2. Attach the SIM card:

  1. Open the protective rubber cover.
  2. Insert the SIM card correctly.
  3. Mount the cover back.

Power-On and -Off

Turn on : Press the panic button (SOS) for 2 seconds to emit a startup tone.

Shut down : Press the panic button (SOS) for 5 seconds to emit a shutdown tone. To force shutdown, press the RESET hole for 2 seconds.

Charging

When charging, the LED will light up. The red LED indicates charging, and the green LED indicates charging is complete.

Use Instruction

SIM Card Attachment

Step 1. Prepare a 4G Nano SIM

(see the following figure for size requirement); Package Requirement: The SIM card must be subscribed with the caller ID service, a data package, and the VoLTE service for high definition calls. It is recommended that the data package offer a traffic of at least 300MB per month.

Step 2. Attach the SIM card

  1. Open the protective rubber cover;
  2. Insert the SIM card correctly and mount the cover back.

Power-On and -Of

  • Turn the device on: Provided the device is shut down, press the panic button (SOS) for 2 seconds and the device will emit a startup tone.
  • Shut the device down: Provided the device is turned on, press the panic button (SOS) for 5 seconds and the device will emit a shutdown tone. The device is set to be protected against shutdown upon shipment.

If you would like to shut down the device, press the RESET hole for 2 seconds.

Note:

If the device fails to be turned on, please check the following: has the device been attached with a SIM card or does the device has enough battery? Please note that the device requires an SIM card and enough power to turn on.

Charging

  • When the charging cable is connected with the device, the LED will light up. A red LED means the device is charging; while a green LED means the charging is complete.

Note:

  • If the battery is exhausted, the charging will take about 2.5 hours to full. It is normal that the device will heat up slightly during charging
  • The charger is an optional accessory, which is available to be purchased separately. You can also use a charger with 5V DC output to charge the device.
  • Use an FCC-certified power adapter or computer USB port for device charging to ensure the safety of your family and properties. Purchase a power adapter from an authorized channel to protect against fire or explosion during charging

Functions

Voice Call

  • Once work phone numbers are set, you can short press the IN or OUT button twice to respectively initiate a call to work phone #1 or #2.

Emergency Call

  • Once the emergency numbers are set (up to 3 are allowed), you can short press the SOS button twice to send an emergency message to the mobile app and web client. In the meantime, the device will initiate calls to all preset emergency numbers once.

Geo-Fence

  • You can set circular or rectangular geo-fences via the mobile app and web client. If the device has its GPS and geo-fence alert feature enabled, it will send alert messages to the mobile app or web client if the device enters or leaves any geo fence.

Precautions

  • All radio transmitters (including this device) may interfere with poorly protected medical equipment. If you or anyone around is using any type of medical equipment, please consult an authorized medical professional or the manufacturer of the product to determine if it is possible to shield radio frequency signals in the vicinity

Pacemaker

  • When unpacking, keep this product at least 16cm (about 6.3 inches) away from any pacemaker. Do not place it in a pocket of any upper body garment. If you suspects that this product may have interfered with a pacemaker, please shut it down immediately.

Flammable or explosive atmosphere

  • Do not use this product if you are in or near a flammable or explosive atmosphere (such as a fuel storage site, chemical plant, or blasting work site).

Precaution on use on aircraft

  • Keep this product shut down when the aircraft is taking off or in flight.

Operating environment

  • Do not operate this product outside of the specified temperature range; otherwise, the product may malfunction or even catch fire or explode.

Precautions on use of batteries

  • Do not disassemble or modify the internal battery by yourself to protect the battery from being damaged, heating up, or catching fire. Do not throw the battery into a fire or other high-temperature area. Otherwise, it may catch fire or even explode.

Charger selection

  • Use an FCC-certified power adapter or computer USB port for product charging to ensure the safety of your family and properties. Purchase a power adapter from an authorized channel to protect against fire or explosion during charging.

Environmental protection

  • Avoid strong impact or vibration to protect this product and its accessories from damage and malfunction;
  • Shut the product down prior to cleaning and maintenance. Use a clean and dry soft cloth for the cleaning;
  • Keep the battery in an unexhausted state to extend its service life. When the product is not in use, shut it down and place it in a dry, ventilated, and dark place;
  • Do not use the charger in kitchen, bathroom, or any other high-temperature and -humidity places;
  • Do not touch the power cable, the device, or the charger with wet hands.

Maintenance

  • Do not dispose of this product and its accessories as household waste.

Warranty Instructions and Service

Special Note

  • No prior notice will be given if the product is upgraded due to technological reasons.
  • The appearance or color of the product is subject to the actual.
  • The warranty card applies to the services of repair, replacement and refund of the product with the following IMEI.
  • Please keep this warranty card and the original purchase receipt together in a safe place, as these will be needed at time of services.

Warranty Terms

  • For damages not caused by human factors, this warranty lasts for one year starting from the date of purchase.
  • You can choose to pay for the repair services in any of the following cases:
  1. The warranty card expires;
  2. No warranty card or valid proof of purchase;
  3. The product, including its accessories, is not in the warranty period;
  4. Quality issues resulted from unauthorized repair, crash, liquid spillage, accident, modification, or incorrect voltage input; or the label, IMEI, or counterfeit mark of the device is broken or scribbled;
  5. Damage caused by installing or using the device without following the instructions in this User Manual;
  6. Other damages caused by force majeure.
  7. The product model is inconsistent with that on the warranty card or the warranty card was altered;
  8. Damage caused by force majeure such as fire, flood, or lightning.

Note

For vehicle trackers

As of January 1, 2016, the warranty lasts for 1 (one) year from the date of purchase.
The specific terms are

  1. A full replacement, including accessories, if the product is found defective during the unpacking check;
  2. If a defect occurs within one year after installation, then:
    • Replace only the mainboard if the housing is intact and doesn’t affect normal use; or
    • Replace the housing and the mainboard if the housing is defective and affects normal use (Please note that man-made damages will void the replacement service for the housing).
  3. Free repair services will be given to the product if a defect is found during the first year under proper use.

Important

Please keep this warranty card in a safe place, as it is the proof for one- year free warranty services. If this card is lost, the Company will determine the date of purchase to be the thirtieth (30th) day after the date of production.

Federal Communication Commission (FCC) Radiation Exposure Statement

The SAR limit of USA (FCC) is 1.6 W/kg averaging over one gram of tissue. Device PL200 (FCC ID: 2AMLF-PL200) has also been tested against this SAR limit.

This device was tested for typical body‐worn operations with the back of the handset kept 10mm from the body. To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain a 10mm separation distance between the user’s body and the back of the handset. The use of belt clips, holsters and similar accessories should not contain metallic components in its assembly. The use of accessories that do not satisfy these requirements may not comply with FCC RF exposure requirements and should be avoided.

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two

conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
