INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
NOTES BEFORE USE
– Be sure to remove all packaging material from inside the device.
– Read the “Safety Tips and Warnings” leaflet carefully before first use.
INSTALLATION
– See “FAN INSTALLATION” at the beginning of the instruction manual.
– IMPORTANT: Do not turn on the ceiling fan if the blades are not in place
or the fan will not operate properly.
– Cut off the power supply before any installation or assembly operation.
– Remove the motor from the packaging. Mount the motor on a soft surface to
avoid damaging the housing surfaces.
– To avoid electric shock, ensure that the power supply has been previously
disconnected.
– The electrical installation must be carried out in accordance with national
regulations.
– It is recommended that installation be carried out by a professional.
– Install the fan at a minimum distance of 2.50 meters from the ground or
other objects.
– The fan light can be connected in two ways. One way is to control the fan
and light through the remote control, and the other is to control the light
through the wall switch, made by an installer.
INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
– Warning: During the process of handling the battery, do not simultaneously
touch its two poles, as this would cause a discharge of part of its stored
energy, directly affecting its longevity.
– Remove the battery compartment cover.
– Verify that the protective plastic sheet has been removed from the
battery(ies) (there are batteries that are supplied with a protective sheet).
– Connect the battery/s into their housing, respecting the indicated polarity.
– Close the battery compartment cover again.
– It is essential that the batteries are of the same type and charge, never
mix alkaline batteries with normal (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable ones.
USE
– Start the device by pressing the button (2).
– Select the desired speed (1).
– Turn on the light by pressing the button (5). To stop the light press the
same button.
TIMER
– You can control the operating time of the device.
– To program an operating time, simply select it by pressing one of the timer
buttons (4).
– After the selected time has passed, the device will stop automatically.
AIR FLOW MODE
– Pressing the button (6) will change the air flow to natural mode.
– This mode is designed to provide a feeling of breeze, increasing and
decreasing speed.
ROTATION DIRECTION CHANGE
– The device has a button (3) that allows changing the direction of rotation of the blades.
Summer function:
– The blades rotate counterclockwise. The movement of the blades generates a
soft breeze that reduces high ambient temperatures and provides a pleasant
sensation of freshness.
Winter function:
– The blades rotate clockwise. In this way, the fan pushes the hot air
accumulated on the ceiling of the room downwards, balancing the room
temperature and creating a cozy climate.
LIGHT
– Press the button (5) to turn the light on and off.
– IMPORTANT: When turning the light on and off, if it takes more than 10
seconds to turn it back on, the same color will remain. If you take less than
10 seconds, the light color will change.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE APPLIANCE
– Stop the appliance by pressing the start/stop button (2).
CLEANING
– Turn off the power supply before carrying out any cleaning task.
– Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of liquid detergent
and then dry it.
– Do not use solvents or products with acidic or basic pH, such as bleach, or
abrasive products, to clean the appliance.
– Do not allow water or any other liquid to enter the ventilation grilles to
avoid damage to the internal parts of the appliance.
– If the appliance is not in a good clean condition, its surface may degrade
and inexorably affect the useful life of the appliance and could become unsafe
for use.
BALANCING KIT
– Your ceiling fan may sometimes have wobble problems when operating due to
irregularities in the blades or blade brackets. Additionally, improper
mounting in the mounting system, for example if the blades are twisted, can
cause some additional problems.
– The box includes a brochure explaining step by step the procedure to solve
this problem.
