What’s in the box?

1. DC 12V 60W power supply
2. USB cable
3. Clip adapters (UK, EU, AU)
4. Battery pack
5. Mini jack cable

Installing battery

1. Using a Phillips #2 (M3) screwdriver, unscrew and remove battery cover
2. Connect the battery to the VG7 connector
3. Place battery so that it rests against the foam pad and the wire fits into the plastic groove
4. Re-install battery cover

Charging battery

Charge battery to full capacity before initial use. To ensure battery longevity and maximum performance of the system, the battery should always be charged prior to operation.

1. Attach the correct AC cable for your country. For UK, attach UK clip to US AC cable.
2. Power jack is under the rubber gasket at base of VG7.
3. Full charge in 2-3 hours. Playtime varies depending on volume (10-20hrs)
4. Battery LED:
   solid RED=charging
   off=charged
   blinking RED=low battery

• Power On/Off Button
• Aux Input LED: Lights YELLOW when Aux Input is connected.
• TrueWireless™ Stereo (TWS) Button and LED

• Mute Button and LED
• Track Control Buttons: Control compatible Bluetooth sources
• Volume Buttons: Up and down volume controls. NOTE: set phone volume to 80%-90% for best performance.
• Battery Indicator LED:
  • Solid RED=charging
  • Off=charged
  • Blinking RED=low battery
• Indoor/Outdoor EQ Button: Switches between indoor and outdoor modes.
  • Outdoor Mode=EQ bass+, LED ON
  • Indoor Mode=EQ bass–, LED OFF

Connecting and Pairing

For all Bluetooth and TWS functions the Aux input must be disconnected.

Bluetooth Pairing with NFC

1. Enable Bluetooth and NFC functions on your phone
2. Hold phone over the NFC logo on VG7 until phone connects and Bluetooth LED blinks slowly
3. Press OK on your phone to connect
4. Play audio

Standard Bluetooth Pairing

1. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone
2. Pair a new device: press and hold the VG7 Bluetooth button for 3 seconds (Bluetooth LED will blink slowly)
3. From Bluetooth menu on phone, select “VG7 by Soundcast”
4. Once paired, the Bluetooth LED becomes solid.
   • Press Bluetooth button to reconnect to previously paired devices. LED will blink fast until connected.
   • To clear all devices from memory, press and hold the Bluetooth key for 10 seconds. The Bluetooth LED will double blink when memory is clear.

Aux Input Mode

Plug external source into 3.5mm jack to automatically switch to Aux Input mode, LED turns YELLOW. Remove plug to switch back to Bluetooth.

TrueWireless™ Stereo (TWS) Pairing

With TWS, two VG7 units may be paired for synchronous Bluetooth play. On/off, volume, track controls and TWS Mode will be synced and may be controlled from either unit.

1. Both Speakers must be in Bluetooth Mode (no Aux input connected).
2. Press and hold the TWS button on the first VG7 unit until TWS LED fast blinks blue. Repeat with the second VG7 unit.
3. When paired, the TWS LED on both units will show both blue and orange.
4. Reconnecting: The TWS-paired units will re-connect automatically, shortly after power-up. A short press of the TWS button on either unit allows cycling through the TWS modes (stereo, left/right, off) listed below:

LED blue and orange : left/right from each speaker
LED orange only : left from primary speaker, right from secondary speaker
LED off : TWS off

• To clear all devices from TWS memory, press and hold the TWS key for 10 seconds. The TWS LED will double blink when memory is clear.
• No music or intermittent dropouts? VG7 Primary and Secondary units may be too far away from each other.

Keypad Lockout Mode

This Mode locks all VG7 keys except the Power On/Off. If any locked key is pressed, all LEDs will rapidly flash to signify lockout mode. To toggle the keypad lockout on or off, Power up the VG7 while simultaneously holding down the Indoor/ Outdoor and Mute Buttons for 3 seconds.

Mobile Charging: You can charge your phone using the USB connection. This will reduce total playtime of the VG7.
